I used this company and would not recommend them, especially their mover Brian. I sold my home and needed to move some items to a storage unit. First thing I explained and most importantly there was a 90" rectangular oak dining table with 6" square legs and two benches made by my husband that were very heavy. Right away Brian and another guy turned the table over. Brian wanted to remove the legs, I asked him not to that the legs could not be removed, he said he knew what he was doing, I again said the legs cannot be removed that my husband always said they couldn't before he passed away; as well as, the table had been moved twice before and the movers did not take the legs off. Brian told me he was not going to risk lifting the table to get it out the door with the legs on to get it into the truck. He was becoming very aggravated with me, went to his truck and came back with a tool bag and started to remove the one leg against my warnings. I stood there watching as he removed nuts, bolts and very long screws. I couldn't believe he wasn't listening to me which was now getting me upset as I was worried he was going to damage the table. Because the leg would not come off, he then started to pull and yank on the leg to loosen it. I told him to stop he was going to strip the wood and whatever was holding the leg in place. He got very upset with me, walked away and left the screws and bolts lying on the floor and proceeded to continue loading the truck with the rest of the items being moved. I walked around not knowing what to do and one of the men told me not to worry they would find a way. I waited for Brian to discuss the situation with me and I looked out and the ramp to the truck was being removed. They were loaded up and ready to pull out. I went out and asked what about the table. As bold as can be Brian said "they are not going to take the table". I told him to get back into the house and put the leg back the way it was. I wish I had a video of how mad he was. Brian was leaving me with a table up side down that had a leg half on and half off, bolts and screws just lying there, and I would have to hire another mover to move a table Dibble movers wouldn't. The nerve of this guy, I couldn't believe it, movers lift heavy furniture and heavy appliances all the time. I got in my car and left to meet them at the storage unit. When I arrived and while the movers were unloading the truck I called the Dibble office and spoke to Randy, I told him what happened and now I was crying for help. Randy said he would talk to Brian and get back to me. Randy called back and told me that Brian wouldn't move the table because I yelled at him. Really, what was I going to do stand there and watch him ruin the table. Poor Brian with his bad attitude and he's upset with me, what an excuse. What surprised me about Randy is that he was more interested in the fact that I yelled at poor Brian and he seemed to protect him instead of how I was being treated. Brian was going to not only ruin the table, but if he could get the legs off he was not going to put the legs back on and put it into the storage unit in pieces. What was I going to do then. I told Randy that it was a $3,500 table and had Brian ruined it there would be a large bill to pay for it. Randy said he would call Brian back again.  Randy called me back and said his men would return to the house and move the table. I thanked him. We went back to the house, the 3 men lifted the table and in 10 minutes, yes 10 minutes, the table with legs on was in the truck. We went back to the unit, they needed to move some items out to get the table in and Brian was shoving and even kicked a few boxes in anger. What happened to me should not happen to any customer of Dibble. I never even received a call from Randy after to apologize and to be sure his men moved the table without incident.

This was the 2nd time I've used Dibble. They were wonderful! You have to ask for the team of Randy R, Joe R and Loddy or else you will get whomever. They are by far the best movers I've ever had! They moved me from my 1st floor apartment to our new home. They were on time, super friendly, and very fast. We had all of our boxes labeled and if they were unsure they asked; they put my couch together for me; they put down plastic on the carpets; they put down cardboard while walking my items from the lawn to the truck, and all under the time I was quoted.I have heard horror stories - however, it depends on the team you request. We were lucky to have the 3 fellas I mentioned above. They did not smoke, they asked if they could use our restroom (and didn't just use it in case the water/plumbing was not working), they did not carry mud into my new home and they were not rude. They also did not break or damage any of my pieces of furniture and treated every piece with care as if it were their own.I HIGHLY recommend if you are going to move - to please request Randy R, Joe R and Loddy. They will make your moving experience smooth and simple. Back when I had moved to my apartment about 3 years ago, we had one of the same guys and he remembered me and my husband. That was pretty cool.

Only one word to describe this company... TERRIFIC!!The workers were extremely polite and friendly. They shrink wrapped all the furniture and took everything they could. Reasonably priced too! I highly recommend this company!

We used Dibble to make a move from Westchester to Lombard.  The quote process was fairly simple and our move consisted of their holding our items for one night since we closed on our "sale" before we closed on our "buy."  The move went pretty smooth with 3-5 guys moving our stuff into the truck within about 5 hours.  Unfortunately, we could not be at our new house when they moved in due to a death in the family so I had a family member standby to make sure that the move went smooth.  Unfortunately, while re-assembling the bed in our master bedroom, they broke both side rails on our bed.  Although Dibble paid "Associated Claims" to repair the bed, it meant that we were without our bed for the first 3 weeks in our new house which is understandably disappointing.  The price matched the quote pretty well, just a little bit over what we had anticipated.    So, moral of the story, they're movers.  They move stuff and occasionally accidents happen that result in damage to your property.  It was disappointing that it happened to a piece of furniture that we use everyday but they made it right, even if it took three weeks between the mover and the "fixer."

Dibble did a great job.  They were faster then their estimate so the bill was actually cheaper than we planned.  They honored their initial estimate for packing material even though I am sure they wrapped & padded more.  They were on time at the pickup location (Downers Grove) and arrived moments after we did at the destination (Orland Park). Most importantly, nothing was damaged.  No walls were scratched or marked and that is pretty impressive considering they had a very tight turn to manage as they brought down a full size couch from the 2nd floor and had to finesse it around the wood railings.Nice job Randy R, Martin, and Jason!!!
