ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS. If I could, I wouldn't give them any stars. We confirmed the day before our Saturday move with Tracie, the salesperson. However, the movers showed up FIVE AND A HALF hours late. They were supposed to meet me at my storage container and then move more furniture from my apartment all over to my new place (three blocks in between apartments). They did not communicate with their bosses or the dispatch so that another crew could be sent to move me instead. Since they arrived at 7:30pm on Saturday, we did not have them go to my storage container and only had them move the furniture in between apartments. When they finished THREE hours later (they were moving the equivalent of one room), they promised us they would meet us at the storage container the next morning, Sunday, to finish. My parents drove all the way out to Cicero on Sunday, where the storage company is located, and the movers NEVER SHOWED UP, did not answer the numerous phone calls to their cell phone and never relayed the information to their boss about being there that morning. On top of which we had paid them ahead of time for the next day. I spoke with Tracie later that morning (who was rather unsympathetic) who said the best she could do was send another crew out later that evening to meet me at the storage container. She never called me again. My mother tried to reach the manager multiple times to get our money back and discuss the situation, but the dispatcher would not put her through, making multiple excuses about the manager's whereabouts and company policy against speaking with a manager.  After reading the rest of these reviews, I have doubts that they'll ever refund us. I can't believe people run a business this way. It's absolutely ridiculous. Hire at your own risk, but my suggestion is to NEVER, NEVER use this company.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!I have moved every year (national and local) for the past 3 years and have never had a move as bad as this - especially for a local move! First, they were late. They called me for directions when they were supposed to arrive at my place... then, they left the dollies in my old garage and we had to turn back, which took about 30 minutes, and they still charged me for that time because they thought they hauled ass and did a good job...  granted one of the two was slightly faster than the other and a bit more efficient... but both were amateurs and pretty lazy if you ask me. The lazier one of the two was trying to have a conversation with my mom and showing pictures of his kids when he was supposed to be moving my stuff! He was more interested in socializing than getting the job done. Not only did it take them long to load and unload a studio sized apartment, with every single thing packed and taped up... but they took forever driving to the new location and arrived much later than I got there (and I was stuck behind them in traffic). I don't know if they stopped somewhere or not, but I do have to say one of them smelled like alcohol after they arrived. I didn't notice it until we got to the new apt.I do also agree that the 5 star rating is very misleading and probably from an Able moving Employee. Very unprofessional, Tried to scam me with pricing when they arrived, but luckily I had printed out my quote... Many times they were close to dropping things also. They did not confirm the reservation, I HAD to follow-up with them. I am also waiting to hear back from them on getting the time they added to my charge reimbursed since it was their mistake for leaving the dolly, not mine. No word yet.DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

DO NOT MOVE WITH THESE GUYS!  I am sorry, but they moved a family friend, and it was miserable.    They were 4 Flipping hours late, and yelled at  me when I finally called.  The dispatcher was rude and made my girl cry.  The moving guys were slow, and they broke a few things.  Companies like this should not be in business.  As a small business owner myself, I was appalled by their customer service and demeanor.  Save time and money, and do it yourself!
