History

Established in 1969. Aaron Bros Moving System, Inc., opened its doors in 1969 during the Urban Renewal project in the city of Chicago. After working with the city exclusively the founder determined that he wanted to broaden his service to include the residents and businesses of Chicago. Aaron Bros Moving System, Inc. has done work with the City of Chicago, the Field Museum (Hi Sue), the public school system, Chicago Housing Authority, the State of Illinois, its residents, businesses, let's just say we've moved something for just about everyone. As the second generation jumped into business they tried everything in the book to grow before the old man told them «Just do a good job, the moving will come.» So that what we've started to do, and viola the business started to grow. Yelp & Aaron Bros have had a rocky relationship thus far but if we follow the old man's advice the moving will come.

Aaron Brothers moved us Saturday morning and I have nothing but great things to say about them. The yelp reviews were a bit hit or miss, but they had the best prices so we thought we would give them a chance.The team worked extremely quickly but with great care and were extremely polite and courteous to us. Finished faster than they estimated and everything was in perfect condition by the end.It was def not an easy move. We had 3 flights of narrow horrible stairs to move down and 2 treacherous flights moving into our new place. It was a real pain in the butt - but these guys were fast and positive about everything.If youre thinking of moving, give them a chance. I got estimates from almost every moving companies in Chicago, these guys have the best rates and they did an excellent job as well.

Quick and very neat!! Didn't give 5 stars due to one of the movers looking at my husband and I crazy over the TIP!!! Never mind we JUST paid close to $400 for our move and neither of us had cash on hand but dude really looked at us crazy and said "SO ONLY $5 A PIECE??"

We used this company for our move over the weekend. Katie helped me make my reservation. The 3 movers actually showed up 1 hour early. I called the company and explained the situation (I could not use the loading dock at my new building until a specific time). He was very professional over the phone and verified my correct start time. He said that it was a mistake and he would not charge me for the extra hour. I was happy with the movers. They were polite, focused, and neat. They wrapped all of my furniture and nothing was damaged. When they arrived at the new place- they unwrapped everything and set up my dining table and sectional. He literally built my bed frame in under 20 minutes. All the garbage was removed and they did a good job. We were very pleased. I would use this company again. Next time, when they call to confirm the move (24-48hours prior), I would just make sure to verify the start time. I hate moving and this was probably the quickest/most efficient and painless move I've ever had to go through. Thank you!
