Providing local and long distance moving services to this great city for the last 45 years has given us the opportunity to work with a lot of wonderful Chicago residents and businesses. Our moving company strives to provide the very best customer service in the moving & storage industry.We are proud members of the Illinois Movers' and Warehousemen's Association which is a great source of information when planning for all your local moving needs.

History

Established in 1969. Aaron Bros Moving System, Inc., opened its doors in 1969 during the Urban Renewal project in the city of Chicago. After working with the city exclusively the founder determined that he wanted to broaden his service to include the residents and businesses of Chicago. Aaron Bros Moving System, Inc. has done work with the City of Chicago, the Field Museum (Hi Sue), the public school system, Chicago Housing Authority, the State of Illinois, its residents, businesses, let's just say we've moved something for just about everyone. As the second generation jumped into business they tried everything in the book to grow before the old man told them «Just do a good job, the moving will come.» So that what we've started to do, and viola the business started to grow. Yelp & Aaron Bros have had a rocky relationship thus far but if we follow the old man's advice the moving will come.

After a bad experience previously with a Chicago based moving company years ago, I was put in touch with Aarons Brothers Moving System through a friend who mentioned they were top notch. That being said I still exercised due diligence and sourced 3 other quotes from local moving companies prior to moving forward with the Aaron Bros crew. I'm happy to say they were awesome, competitively priced and did an outstanding job handling what I felt was a difficult move. Obviously complexities abound when moving large and delicate items in/out of urban locations but these guys know what they're doing, true professionals. Great crew very friendly, punctual, efficient and hard working but still took an abundance of care with wrapping delicate items meticulously so that once everything arrived at point B, nothing broken, not even a scratch! They made moving which to me was usually a painfully frustrating and long process where my life is in disarray to an act of simply picking up the phone and letting them go to work. Highly recommended!

Terrible experience I must share. Arrived 3 hours late for starters, without any call or update to tell me they were running late. Really? I had a one bedroom apartment with minimal belongings and the estimated time was 2-2.5 hours. They sent 4, yes 4 workers so I was excited they'd be done sooner. Yeah freaking right dude. IT TOOK THESE INCOMPETENT INDIVIDUALS 4 HOURS TO MOVE A ONE BEDROOM!!!!! OH HECK NO. Tried to spring all type of equipment, supply charges on you that were NEVER discussed with the head guys on the phone. They didn't even know to take the damn legs off of the furniture before trying to get it through the door. What idiots. Damaged a few legs but to never see these guys or deal with this company EVER AGAIN, I'll take that trade off. Ended up charging me $500+ for 4 hours and 4 idiot movers. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS COMPANY and I suggest nobody use them if you care about your stuff. Don't ignore the multitude of BAD reviews for this company.

I called in a minor panic as my clients had just moved to Chicago from Los Angeles and the contents of their entire home was in Storage.  Erica was so helpful.  She made sure that all of the logistics were covered, gave great options and a very reasonable price. I found out that Aaron Bros Moving System is a highly respected moving company. I'm so glad that I made the right choice!

My 2 movers (Sultan and John) were relocating an appliance for me from one property to another.. not only were they on time, they were 15 minutes early and waiting on me to get there. The move was done inside of the estimated time window and I was satisfied with the service I received. Will recommend to friends.
