Would say unethical company with ni response to formal requests. Only comeback on calls to shame me for "not knowing" their contract... really?

I am a female in 20's and their QA was not afraid to shame me emotionally and passively. Would highly recommend to AVOID.

I got a phone call from this company while I was looking to move from east coast to mid-west. It was very stressful process as I thought having broker company would help with actually getting stuff figured out with moving company, but no. I had to explain myself repeatly to both this company and the actual moving company (which I did like talking directly to the moving company than going through Movesafe). #1 QA is not afraid of pulling "oh I'm sorry you didn't read the fine prints when you signed the paper"... As I did, couldn't find where it was written, asked them to screenshot the part and send over, never responded and annoying. It was along the line of "please send me a screenshot stating that lower volume of items will be combined with other mover's truck" - whatever the reason maybe (prob cost related), it was not explictly stated, and when I called to understand/potentially speed up the moving process, the guy who called himself a QA said was "Oh it's on the paper, you just didn't read it".
Umm... Still waiting for the email response with screenshot.

Not only that, I couldn't get the actual follow up from Movesafe to a simple request as getting a form from the moving company due to damaged furniture during transit for claims. They did respond that they will get back to me, which they never did.

I re-followed up directly with the moving company after a few days, and they were able to help out, even how to submit the claim.

Only embarrassment and annoyance, blockage of communications experienced with this broker company.

And yes, I'm putting personal information to the world to such an unethical company :(

Stay the hell away from these guys. An absolute nightmare. They still have my things and are holding them hostage. In total, they have about $30K worth of my property that they are holding in a "warehouse" at an undisclosed location and will not release anything until I pay them double what the initial invoice said.

Essentially, when you call MoveSafe, they will sub-contract your business to another mover. This isn't unusual in and of itself but they are clearly working in conjunction with other scammers. Problem is? The cops won't even get involved because it's a civil matter (i.e. you have to sue them to get your shit). But guess what? The FBI cares. Because, if they take your stuff across state lines and you paid via credit card or cash app, that's wire fraud. I'm talking to an agent in Minneapolis about this now.

In the meantime, here's a dump of everything I can find on these assholes. Do we have any additional recourse outside of taking them to court? How do we run these idiots out of business?

They first told me they could move my stuff (which is the contents of a one-bedroom apartment from Santa Fe, NM to Belleville, MI for about $2,000, including a $500 discount if I agreed that day on the phone.
I asked how long it would take and the man who called me said, "about a week"
He apparently no longer works there. I added a few items and the cost jumped to about $2500. They picked up my stuff on Jan. 29th. Where I was told the estimate was low and increased the cost to over $3,000. Since it was the day I had to move as my lease was expiring I had little choice but to agree.
Now, FOUR WEEKS LATER, my stuff is allegedly "on the truck" but where that truck is, they won't tell me. That message was four days ago.
The contract said delivery in 7-17 business days. We are well beyond that and so far, I've gotten just that one message in those four weeks. I've yet to get a response. Do any of my lawyer friends want to talk to these people?

I recently had a highly disappointing experience with Move Safe, a moving company that claims to prioritize customer satisfaction and stress free service. Unfortunately, my encounter with them revealed a series of lies, broken promises, and an utter lack of professionalism. I wrote a review previously and wanted to share an update to the continued disappointment and disregard to customer satisfaction. In this review, I will detail my frustrating experience with Move Safe, particularly regarding their false assurances of refunding my money and the subsequent mistreatment by their operations manager, Matthew.

After filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) due to the numerous issues I encountered during my move, I was contacted by Matthew, who identified himself as the operations manager at Move Safe. He assured me that the company would refund me in full for the inconveniences caused. However, he quickly shifted blame onto me for disputing the charges with my bank, claiming that this action had depleted their funds and prevented them from issuing a full refund at the moment. He stated that they if they won the dispute I would still be refunded.

To my dismay, my bank sided with Move Safe in the dispute solely based on the fact that the items were delivered. They failed to acknowledge the crucial details of missing and broken items, as well as the lack of communication throughout the entire moving process. This decision was deeply unfair and disregarded the legitimate concerns I had raised.

Following the completion of the dispute process, Matthew reneged on his promise to refund me in full as previously agreed upon. Instead, he offered a mere $200 as compensation. Moreover, his demeanor during our conversation was unprofessional and threatening. He callously stated that since they had won the dispute, I should accept the $200 and close my BBB review.

My experience with Move Safe has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their deceptive practices regarding refunds and their disregard for customer satisfaction are deeply concerning. The mistreatment and threats I received from Matthew only added insult to injury. I strongly advise anyone considering using Move Safe for their moving needs to think twice and explore more reliable and reputable alternatives.
