680 Movers

We did a move this weekend from San Mateo to Walnut Creek with 680. This was hands down the best moving experience I've ever had. I submitted a quote online just 10 days or so in advance and received a prompt response from their team. Even though we left this until the last minute, they were still able to accommodate us on one of the busiest moving weekends of the year. The actual move was fantastic. Daniel and his team were absolute professionals. They arrived right at the top of the time window we were given, walked through our apartment taking notes on items that needed special treatment, and then started moving. It's worth noting we had many boxes, a king sized bed, couch and a few other furniture pieces. The team took amazing care of everything, wrapping and taping everything, and even disassembled the furniture items. They moved incredibly quickly as well. The other end went just as smoothly, with their team helping unpack their boxes with the smaller items, and taking the time to make sure everything was in the right spot. This was seriously a great experience. As much as we hate moving, Daniel and his team made this a very pleasant experience. Good not recommend them more.

These guys were great! They moved our small SF apartment (on a steep one-way street, with a narrow staircase) efficiently and carefully. Booking was easy, the price was way cheaper than what I found elsewhere, and everything went smoothly. Communication the day of the move was easy (they called to give us an update on timing, etc.)They provided wardrobe boxes and they wrapped all our furniture in blankets and plastic wrap. They came prepared with lots of packing tape.We had lots of antique furniture I was stressed about, but I have not seen any scratches or dents. They were able to move VERY heavy dressers around some tight corners and down steep stairs.They disassembled our IKEA bed and put it back together at our destination, which was really helpful. I was amazed at how much they could cram in the truck.I would trust 680 Movers if we ever need to move around the Bay Area again. Strongly recommend.

Danny,Santos, and James was very fast and efficient! Everything was packaged nicely and the moving process was so easy thanks to them. Would totally recommend 680 Movers! ----I used 680 Movers again for another moving experience. Thank you Daniel's team for the excellent moving experience. We had a moving appointment scheduled for June 28 between 9-10am with Tony's team. The move included a one-bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor. Our furniture to be moved included: 9-drawer dresser, two 5-shelf bookcases, couch, coffee table, TV dresser, 2 desks, full size bed and box spring, exercise bike, kitchen rack, large flat screen tv and many boxes of clothes and kitchen items (around 20). It took about 1.5 hr to move everything into the truck. All of the furniture was wrapped in heavy thick moving blankets, secured and then secured with tape. The TV was wrapped in one of the heavy duty blankets, secured with tape, then the screen was overlaid with a piece of cardboard and taped further, then it was placed in a box. Our move was from Vallejo to Concord, Ca. It took about 45 mins to unload and set up everything in the new location. Tony's team was very thorough and polite. They wrapped all the furniture and handled our items with great care. They also would double check the location of where we wanted everything just to make sure it was to our liking. They were respectful to both our belongings and home(s). None of the furniture was damaged during the moving process. 2 out of the 3 movers did not speak English (they were of Asian descent), so all communication had to be relayed to one individual and then translated. They were very quiet during the move and did not disturb us or the neighbors. I really appreciated how they did NOT have music playing either. Every time I have had maintenance work done, the contractor, no matter where I have hired them play music out loud, which I find to be unprofessional. Cost for 3 hours for 3 movers: cash $584 + tipWhat can be improved: One of the brackets that hold up one of the shelves in the TV stand got lost during the move. The stand has a hole in the back for cables to go through and one of the shelves must have become loose during moving and the bracket most likely fell out the back through the hole. It is not a big deal, we had extra brackets and was able to replace it easily. Therefore, I would recommend taping the openings in furniture with masking tape or blocking the hole with cardboard for future moves. Also, they appointment was scheduled between 9-10am and the movers arrived around 10:15am. They called to inform the delay, but I wanted to add the timing in. I was able to look past this because they were kind enough to help us move our very old large real Christmas tree covered in dust and spider webs from our balcony into the garbage (the tree had been sitting on the balcony since January because it was too large for me to carry down the stairs to the dumpster). I really appreciated that because I know the person that moved it got really dirty afterward and did not complain. I highly recommend Tony's team and would request them again in the future if I needed moving services.

Michael and Ricardo did an excellent job for me and moved all of my furniture without damaging anything! Both guys were extremely hard workers and we're both very friendly also. They did an excellent job packing the truck - I was surprised it all even fit in there! They had to move everything up to the third floor and did so in record time! I would recommend this service to others looking for moving services
