Route 66 Moving

I've had to move far too much in my life, starting as a military kid, so I'm very critical of moving companies. I've been "screwed" in the past by them so I'm very careful. My recent move (3/17) was from a bad situation in Oceanside to a small, 1bdr apt. in San Clemente. I got quotes from several, most were ridiculous. Route 66 was the best. On the day of the move, they showed up on time, packed it up with caution and courtesy, met me at the location after having to go through the CHP scales on the 5 fwy, unpacked and kept to the quote. It was the best move I've had to pay for--so five stars.

First of all I would hope that you read my review and don't be a victim like me. After purchasing their service I decide to go through the reviews only to realize that these five stars are fake, they are bribing their customers to put five star reviews in exchange for a discount on the purchase.My moving experience! Speaking with the sales rep on the phone they sold it so good as all-inclusive service say that the people would help me pack help me move make it really easy for me. I am a very busy person, a business professional, with very little time to pack and move so I decided to use route 66 service. They told me they would arrive between hours of eight and 9 AM so I do give them five stars for punctuality since they were on time. The tenant knocks on my door, I opened it he comes in my house take a look around he goes wow you have a lot to pack. I was under the impression this is all inclusive service I replied, he said well you only pay for three hours if you want me to pack it's going to be about six or seven hours long this is a 530 square-foot 1 bedroom. No me I don't want to say the movers were exactly horrible, as they weren't horrible,sloppy yes, willing to assist not so much! so as I pay a lot of money for our moving  service me and my fiancé are left hustling breaking a sweat packing so we can get done in time for the move. as we bring the new stuff to the new house movers are unloading loading up my living room wall-to-wall floor-to-ceiling they put very few items upstairs and the wardrobe boxes full of clothes they said you guy empty those you don't get to keep them.  So we were left running up and down stairs taken multiple loads of clothes as opposed to getting help. When purchasing all inclusive moving company services the expectation is exactly that all inclusive moving, this is my first experience of ever using a moving company and I will be my last for route66 The walls on the staircase were left scratched, the door entry was left scratched, the corner of the wall going up the staircase the whole entire paint was chipped off. I was recommended to use this company as he OWNER owns the condo that my neighbor lives in at the rancho mission villas.Update~ I must praise the management of this company, they really stand for their business and represent it well. Even though I had some damage to my home they didn't turn their back, in fact they came out in a very timely matter. Everything was fixed and I feel confident that this company has very high potential and I would give them a second try!

I will never use this company again. You will have guys repair damaged items without telling you

Route 66 helped us move today.  They were fast, efficient & careful with all our furniture.   The three guys that came out today were professional, polite, & courteous.

On time ,careful, efficient and I would call again RAndy and TyReese were the movers and were careful to wrap everything and move right along.  Excellent experience!!!
