Ace Relocation Systems

My company hired ACE for our relocation purposes and that was the first mistake. My household goods were in a 10 x 10 unit. I have no large appliances besides 1 TV, Only mattresses for a king and queen size bed with no headboards, foot boards or dressers. I am still trying to figure out how they weighed my items at almost 5,000 lbs...then again, I know the 5th wheel trick to make thing weigh heavy or light so I guess I really do know. What I definetly know is, I am still waiting for my stuff to arrive (even though I was told it should be NLT the 27th). This is just one story however my boss can tell his and it will be in the same line of buffonery! Having moved multiple times while serving in the military I know the game and I know when someone is gauging a company. Good job Ace Relocation you best hope my company retain you for future services.

We made a local move in Encinitas with Ace Relocation.  It was a large move 4 BR, living, dining, office, family, breakfast, baby grand piano, large patio, etc.  Frank Greene was our estimator.  He was very professional, very thorough, and very responsive.  Michelle Blake was our coordinator.  Michelle also was very professional and responsive.  Because we were able to close on our new house early, we elected to move our art, books and kitchen on our own after we signed the service order.  Michelle handled the changes smoothly and quickly issued a credit on the payment we made.   The house we moved from had restricted driveway access so the move took two days.  Adam Rocher and his crew were exceptionally professional and careful through it all.  All our items arrived in great condition.  They set up the rooms as we requested and patiently consulted on positioning the baby grand piano!  Overall the cost of the move was very reasonable.  The service was excellent.  The attitude was "can do" and professional.  We definitely recommend this company.

Been thru many Military and professional moves (some paid by Uncle Sam, others by self/company) and Ace has been by far best experience.  Most importantly, they start by asking questions to find out what works best for us (what a concept) and then diligently and professionally excecute the plan we worked on together.You can tell it's a family run business by their genuine concern and high attention to detail - no hiding behind a corporate 1-800 # and a legion of lawyers armed with belt-fed contracts that wear you down.Enthusiastic recommendation...

We've used this company twice, once for a corporate move, 2nd time our own household move.  First time around was better, perhaps because we were going through a large company.  2nd time --- not the greatest.  From poor packing job on one end --- in which I found picture frames and candles, packed with garage tools!  Lampshades were bent and torn from poor packing as well.On receiving end -- our driver didn't call us during the entire 10 day/2 week time frame while driving cross country with our goods.  We didn't get a call until the day before he arrived San Diego, after texting and calling several times!While unloading -- damaged one of our most expensive pieces of furniture -- an armoire.  I even said to PLLLLEEEEEASE be careful and that was the one they scratched.  There were also nicks and scratches to 2 other pieces of furniture.  The driver promised he'd go to Home Depot and get the scratch touch up pencils to bring back to me.  Never called, never returned.  Here's the worst part:  I had a tip envelope prepared a few days earlier for what I thought would be a 3-4 man crew for unloading.  When they they completed the move -- I didn't remember that there was $100 in there after having to sign and go over a huge inventory list with the driver that seemed in a huge hurry to get outta there.  I gave him the sealed envelope only remembering later it was $100, obviously meant for a larger crew.  I called the driver that day as well as the HEADQUARTERS in San Diego and asked if they could see about getting me 1/2 that money back for an obvious mistake.  NO ONE ever returned my call on this matter.  The driver made way with $100 for him and his son, after scratching my furniture and doing a lousy packing job to begin with.  It's that kind of thing that stands out and makes  an already stressful experience of moving even worse.  I feel like someone reached into my purse and stole $100 from me.  ACE RELOCATIONS systems, you cannot ignore situations like this without expecting some bad word-of mouth.

Absolutely best Service ! It was really easy to send an e-mail using their website to have someone contact me via e-mail or phone call. My rep was able to meet me out at my storage unit to assess all the items I had and gave me a great rate. The movers were early by 10mins, loaded everything in the truck and ready to roll in 45mins. They beat me to my new location and were ready to unload. I felt very comfortable with them handling all my items. They were talkative, friendly, quick, and reliable. If I ever move again there will be no hesitation to reach out to Ace Relocation again for their services. I will definitely be referring them to anyone that ask.
