Best movies ever. I can't imagine a more pleasant experience moving. Maddy and Lari arrived on time, ready to go, and finish the job in half the time estimated. They knew a lot about their business, including things like The right order to move things for efficiency, the right way to place things in the room so that they didn't have to move furniture over and over again, and how to move things without damaging them in an efficient manner. They also knew things above and beyond what is considered normal. For instance how to remove blue putty tape on the walls.

I like Walsh Moving & Storage because of a few reasons:1) The movers were reliable and friendly.  In addition to that they were efficient.  They were able to pack up a whole house in around three hours.2) They come prepared.  Unlike other moving companies, Walsh Moving & storage showed up with several blankets, straps, tools, tape.. you name it.  Another company we dealt with only showed up with one screwdriver and two-three blankets.  WTH?3) This is a big company so they have around 25 employees so they are never fully booked!I would recommend this company to my friends and family for moving.  And I would use them again!

They're ok if nothing goes wrong.  After using them for years and recommending them, they moved a stove for me yesterday and broke the thing into a million pieces.  OK so stuff happens but the owner is an absolute nightmare to deal with.  The mess wasn't cleaned up and took me several hours and he could care less.  This place used to be good but clearly has gone down hill I've never dealt with the owner before I would have never used this place before had I he's the worst part of it.  I would look elsewhere.

I was moving from Long Beach to Bakersfield and needed a company willing to do that move. After 2 companies flat out turned me down a third one (unable to do that move as well) was kind enough to recommend Walsh and i'm SO glad they did!! From beginning to end, this was been the greatest experience with a moving company.Here's how it went:Quote request: Contacted Walsh Moving & Storage via email, received a call the next day from Chris to schedule a time for him to come to my home to provide a proper quoteSite visit: Chris was extremely professional and arrived early! Chris provided me an information brochure about the company and his card, then he walked around for about 10 minutes, looked at what I'd be taking with me and said I'd have quote in a day or two. Quote: Not only did I get a hard copy of the quote via snail mail but I also got an electronic version. The quote was very reasonable, actually much lower than I expected. Booking process: A few weeks later I finally got around to calling them to schedule a pickup/delivery time. Chris, Tom and Ricardo were all very helpful with making sure I had all the help I needed with this move. They were very accommodating with some last minute changes to the pickup/delivery schedule and even called/emailed several times to confirm details (I'm a busy person so getting these reminders was very reassuring).Picking up: I was told they'd arrive sometime between 2pm  & 3pm, it was a Friday so I assumed they'd arrive closer to 3pm ... Nope, I got a call at 2:04 telling me they were at my residence, I was very impressed with they're promptness. Rich and James were extremely nice, very helpful and thorough in explaining the process. The guys took great care of my stuff, helped with the wardrobe boxes, disassembled my bed and even took a large rug out of my residence for me. Drop off: My items arrived in Bakersfield at around 8:45am the next day (it's a 2 hour drive from Long Beach so they had to have gotten an early start). I once again got Rich and James so that made me happy b/c I was confident they'd be careful with my items. Once again both guys were great, my bed was reassembled, they helped me arrange my large furniture items and the best part MY ITEMS ARRIVED EXACTLY AS I HAD PACKED THEM!! I HIGHLY recommend Walsh Moving & Storage. After reading several horror stories about other moving companies I was hesitant to hire anyone, but I'm extremely pleased with the entire process. Tom, Chris, Ricardo, James and Rich - thank you all so very much for making this easy for me!

KUDOS to Manny and James for making my move so painless and easy! From start to finish everything was done in a professional and timely manner. I would highly recommend Walsh Moving and Storage.
