Sunshine Boys Moving & Storage

Beware when using these guys!!  Joe the salesperson is very friendly and comforting and he'll come in with a very low bid.  At the very end of the day they bumped the price for taking longer than estimated.  The movers are all very courteous and professional but just know what's coming.  They missed the mark on our move by almost a thousand dollars.  When I discussed this with our salesperson he immediately said the paperwork states they can do this.  This turned a great experience into feeling cheated, very quickly.

Sunshine Boys Moving embezzled over $4,000 from an account I had used for a deposit fee. They then said I had approved it by email (I had not) and then said I had approved it on the phone (and I had not). When the goods arrived, the driver demanded $5,000 in cash, and then raised to $5,500. He hired thugs off the street, and some furniture that was very dear to me arrived broken.The police had to come three times because the driver, Peter, kept threatening to drive off with our stuff or leave it on the street. The men were insulting and threatening.They charged me $1,795 for packing materials when everything arrived in its original packing. They charged me a bogus fee of $2,000 some odd dollars for extra cubic feet. They lied, and lied, and then lied some more.I think they must have been reliable at one time, but something has gone terribly wrong with this company.  AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Awful experience all the way around!  Inexperienced movers took 3 hours longer than they expected.  The movers actually argued all day at one another.  One kid kept jumping and grabbing fruit off our trees rather than moving stuff.  It was a total joke.  They didn't wrap furniture properly causing damage to my furniture and our place.  Manager was unresponsive in handling complaint.  Eventually the owner offered us a free move for our next move.  Forget it!  While I love a deal, I'd  rather pay and have it done right.  Who knows if it was a real offer. He said he sent a letter to me and we never received it.  Terrible follow through by the manager and owner considering how bad our experience was and the stories we shared with them from that awful day.We have moved several times.  Nothing compares to how bad this company is.  I'm surprised they are still in business.

Had a terrific experience with Sunshine Boys this past weekend.  They were on time, extremely hard-working & efficient, and conscientious.  They didn't go crazy with extra packing materials (wrap, tape, etc), which I've seen some movers do and results in serious upcharges.  They also did an excellent job fitting a huge pile of stuff into a storage unit.  Hats off to Joe and Ron, the foreman, and everyone on our job.Would recommend them highly.

Great company! Efficient, friendly, reliable, and honest. No hidden costs.  Joe was very thorough in his review of costs, timing, and what u could expect on moving day.  I highly recommend this moving company.
