We had to make a move from CA to PA.  We were very skeptical of moving services because of what we were reading of other peoples' experience. Ship Smart was a blessing. From the first telephone conversation to the delivery of our possessions, they were easy to work with, peompt, courteous, and lived up to very promise they made.  The delivery was on time, the items were packed securely,  way beyond our expectations.  They were easily accessible, rapid to respond and kept us informed every step of the way. I highly recommend Ship Smart for your next move.  You will find them to be highly professional and excellent on execution.

Horrible experience. Company claims white glove service - not even close. Moving company was hired to pack and move a small office from NYC to Los Angeles.We purchased specific packing material for our computer equipment that even though we had it in the paper work to use our materials - Ship Smart failed to comply. All of our IT gear showed up stacked on the bottom of the box stacked side by side with zero packing material. All other office items thrown on top with one layer of bubble wrap. Think 5 year old cleaning up his room and throwing everything into the toy box. All computers showed up broken - that's what happens when you pack computers as if they were reams of paper... Adding insult to injury there outsourced insurance company is a major pain and at the time of this post being told Ship Smart failed to purchase the correct insurance on our behalf. Will not use this company again.

I used ShipSmart to ship my furniture from a storage facility in NJ to Los Angeles, CA. I had chosen ShipSmart because their price was the most reasonable, and their staff was willing to work with me on what I was able to do based on a budget. There was a potential minor delay and I was not satisfied with how things were happening, but Mike, one of their operational managers, followed up with me and managed to get my furniture to me earlier than what I had scheduled, even paid for the guys to work on a Saturday so I appreciated that. The delivery guys were very nice, respectful and honest as they even pointed out where my furniture was damaged. I had bought insurance as well and several of my pieces were damaged in transit. Just a note to anyone who buys it through ITI, they will assign an allowable value of reimbursement so this would have been something to ask ahead of time that I did not do. They do not cover anything within a box, only damage to furniture. However, ShipSmart provided excellent customer service again as I worked with Joslin, who was proactive in providing solutions to make up for the issues I encountered, timely in response and overall, great communicator in terms of what he could do, when it would be done, etc. So despite all the mishaps that happened, ShipSmart provided superior customer service, and I'll be recommending them to my friend who is moving across country as well.

I was hesitant about shipping a dining room set and buffet from Michigan to California.  However, Ship Smart's estimate was reasonable.  They used a local Michigan vendor who wrapped and packed the items with great care.  Everything arrived in perfect condition.  Their personnel were courteous and professional.  I highly recommend Ship Smart to anyone.  Thank you.
