LA Moving and Storage

I've never used movers before, but I unexpectedly had to move out and decided to hire someone to make it easier on myself. It was worth every penny. I feel like I have a lot of stuff for a one bedroom, but the entire move took less than 3 hours. Easiest move ever!Thank you so much, David!I rrrreeaaallllyyy hope I don't have to move again anytime soon, but when I do, I'll be calling them again!

I accidentally deleted the review and decided to re-write it again.I would totally recommend LA Moving & Storage because they provide the best customer service ever.  When the staff tells you that he will be there at 9AM, they actually show up not only on time but early.LA Moving & Storage is cheaper than every single other moving company I called and were able to come THAT DAY.  They moved all my stuff cautiously and asked me all the right questions, making me feel extremely comfortable and supported throughout the stressful moving process.  I will honestly never ever go with another moving company in Los Angeles.  Highly recommended!

I want to highly reccomend "Moving and Storage"moving company. After dealing with countless sleazy moving companies with fine print hidden charges and rude customer service, I found Moving and storage company on Yelp and made a last minute change to use their company.Definitely the best moving service around. I move a lot and was really surprised with this company approach. Reliable, on time, careful, polite.They were done with the entire job in about four hours, which was less than the original estimate. I hope I'm getting my point across when I say that this move was absolutely FLAWLESS! We'll never use another company!

Found these guys on craigslist and decided to give them a call because of all the positive Yelp reviews... big mistake. Booking was a hassle:I called earlier this week and asked for a quote and availability for this Thursday afternoon. They were nice on the phone, gave me an estimate and said they were going to call back shortly to confirm and email me all the details.A day went by and I never heard back from them  so I gave then a call. They "found" my booking, but asked ALL of my info again, including the addresses, day, time and my email  and told me they would send a confirmation email shortly with all the details. Another day went by and nothing. Called in a third time (yesterday), it took them a while to find my booking but they finally did. They asked for my email again, apparently it was "not in their system". Ok, no problem, I'll spell it for you: -"I-R-W-I-N@.."  - "I W R E A N?"... -"No, I-R-W-I-N@..."  -"Ok, I-E-R-W-A-N?"... sigh... A few hours later I got a very simple email from "Maid services" confirming the date, time pickup and drop-off locations. Ok, thanks. Moving date: I prepped the whole week to make sure I had everything ready, everything small in properly labeled boxes, emptied out all bookcases, unplugged everything and tied down chords and lined things up for them. 6:00pm, they're supposed to be here now. I'll give them a few minutes. At 6:30 I call the office and they tell me they will be there at 7, "lots of traffic". 7:00pm, still not here.  Gave them another call and he tells me he will check. He calls back 15 minutes later and says that "the truck broke down" but they would be here  (In Burbank) around 8-9 pm. Ok, but I';m starting to get cranky. 8:30pm, I see a large white truck pull over on the other street, I wave to them and in a few minutes they are in front of my house. I ask them if they they are from LA Moving and Storage. No, it's a food truck, they sell burgers, burritos and snacks. I'll have a cheeseburger and some rancheritos please.  Finally at 9:10 pm I get a call from another number and the guy immediately acts as if he had been trying to reach me the whole afternoon and goes on to explain he had another job that took much longer than expected. Gee, I thought the truck broke down. If you're going to BS customers at least get your stories straight dudes. After a while he told me that his boss just gave him my number. He's in long beach and it will take him at least 40 minutes to get to Burbank but he starts complaining about curfew noise, it's dark, stairs... so yeah, F-off LA Moving & Storage, I'll just find someone else.

TERRIBLE! I know there's the saying that you shouldn't speak when you're mad but this is absolutely ridiculous!My sister is in the process of moving and I wanted to help her out and look for a company to help her move her things. I called them because of the overall positive Yelp reviews and we both spoke with mark (?) who seemed really pleasant over the phone and better yet had availability to help her move today. So my sister cancels with a company charging twice as much to set up an appointment with them for 8-9am this morning. It's 2pm and no one has arrived. Mark doesn't seem to know where the movers are and she got a call from a guy saying he was from another company and got hired for the job. Uhh..what?!? Sooooo unprofessional!!! Will NEVER seek their "service" (which is more like a waste of time) again! And I will discourage anyone considering them. I'm disappointed and feel awful that I put my sister in this position considering she needs to be out tomorrow.They don't deserve the one star I'm forced to give them.
