I happen to be an attorney and one of my clients died.  As a favor to the family I probated the estate.  The problem was I needed to empty the house to sell it and the family did not agree who was getting what furniture, art, items, etc.  So I called Elite and ended up speaking to Mary.  She was very professional and helped me arrange everything.  I ended up hiring Elite to pack up all the items in the house, store them, then transport them to two seperate houses once the family agreed on who got what.  Elite did a great job packing and no items were damaged during this process.  They even labeled everything so it was easy to sort later.  The pricing was fair for all the work I had them do.  When my client's oldest son miscalendared the drop off date at his house the moving guys called him and agreed to wait while he arrived vs just leaving.  I also liked how they have organce company shirts vs ripped jeans and ratty tshirt like other moving companies I have used.  Overall I would say they did a good job.

I'm very happy I hired this company to help me move to my new house. It was a short notice , worked with Donna in the office, experience was excellent. Not only she helped to organize everything with movers, but she gave me few tips on packing my stuff. Thank you so much!

While I had a great experience with the movers themselves, I did not have an overall good experience. When it came time for the movers to deliver my items to my new location, the guys were calling me to tell me I would have to shuttle (which I knew was a possibility) and we're trying to overcharge me! So any person would say let me call the company, they were NOT answering the phone on a Saturday. The Yelp hours stated they were open on the page. Yet they were not answering the phone! Finally someone called me back and took a look at my contract to verify, I was correct. Then I tried to call back again to confirm and no one answered! Like how do you have a moving business that doesn't answer the phone on the weekends? Hmm... So the movers themselves were great and OVER worked but the service was pretty skeptical and stressful.

Such a professional and wonderful company to work with. Helped me quickly and efficiently even on such short notice! Will definitely be considering them again for my next move! Donna at the office was so easy to work with and really helped!

For the record I give this place zero stars. Our initial quote to move from California to Illinois was $1375. We added our mattress and a few other items and the quote I was given the day before was move was $1770. They came the next morning and once they put our stuff on the truck told me that it would be $3000....this was after I was told multiple times that the price couldn't not exceed the contract. They charged us $300 because my apartment was at the end of the hallway. Seriously? We had no choice but to pay this amount because we had already given our apartment notice.  They give you a cheap quote and then jack the price once they have your stuff on their truck. I was told that it would take about 7 days to get our stuff. I sent several emails and NO ONE responded so I started calling multiple times a day. Half the time no one answered the phone. And if I did get to actually speak to someone all I was told was "I don't know"...."I don't know". No one had an answer for when our stuff was going to get here. One girl said to me that she didn't know where the driver was and he wasn't answering his phone. I was told that they have several people's items on the truck and they didn't know when we would be receiving our stuff. FINALLY we were given the driver's number. I spoke to him and 20 days after they picked our stuff up it STILL HADN'T LEFT CALIFORNIA YET. FYI this was after the people that this "business" told me that it was on the way. We were told on several occasions that a manager would call us. That never happened. Every time I talked to these worthless people they would say "Can we take down your number and call you?" We NEVER RECEIVED A PHONE CALL BACK. ALSO you are suppose to receive a FORTY EIGHT hour notice. The driver called me on Sunday at 3pm telling me he would be here Monday morning at 8am. I was also NEVER told that we had to present the final balance with a POSTAL money order. I wish I had read the reviews on this terrible company before I had hired them to move my stuff. All they do is scam people out of their money. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do research on these people before hiring them for a job. I wouldn't trust them to move a lawn chair. The company is EXTREMELY DISHONEST.
