These guys are really amazing, and their price structure is super competitive.  You can find that out by getting quotes on your move.  In our case there was a flat hourly rate for 3 guys, and materials and padding were on top of that.  I'd say Elite came in at $1000 to $300 a day less then their competitors.  On top of that, they are a very tight hard working group, and they get the job done well and quickly.  I always think you can tell a lot about a business by learning how long everyone has worked there, and starting with Donna in the office who leads the group with 15 years, almost every person on every crew had been on board for 8 to 10 years.I recommend Elite most highly....with out any hesitation.  Sincerely John Baier Rolf Method of Malibu

DON'T USE ELITE! We moved across country this summer and, while the initial quote came in under others, it was completely downhill from there. On the front side, we experienced incredibly high up-charges for all kinds of things once they began packing and loading, the packers just threw our things in a box without wrapping so we had tons of broken items when unpacking and the guys were super un-professional and negative (and were happy to bash management - one even told me that the reviews on the company website weren't real reviews, which, of course, made me begin panicking).We were told our belongings would be out east in 10-14 days, and 4 weeks later they finally showed up. Upon unpacking, we discovered we were missing electronics (including one that was clearly stolen along the way as our account was activated and used through the device) and furniture. When we tried to address this with the company they took weeks to respond to us and finally settled on refunding us 1/4 of the value of the missing items. At that point, all we wanted to do was be done with Elite. We cannot believe this company is still in business - it is such a scam! I definitely should have done my homework and listened to the other cross-country move reviews here on Yelp. We would have avoided so much wasted money, time, and stress.

This... was a nightmare. I moved last year and just never got around to my review. They nickel and dimed the shit out of me!!! Do not use!!1. They charged me $90 to use the elevator ! My storage was on the 2nd floor and it was literally around the corner from the elevator and I was fucking charged. It's not like they had to use the stairs! What bull****!2. They charged me for tape... some things needed tape last minute (and the blankets needed to be taped around the fragile stuff) well- I BROUGHT TAPE and told them I would tape my own stuff and they refused. They wasted SO  MUCH TAPE I was appalled. I told them to use mine and they said it was 'against policy'. They used like 6 rolls of tape for two or three things. And I was charged .. $60!! gtfo out of here! 3. After a plethora of tape was wasted- they broke the vintage table it was wrapped in and really rare glassware from my grandma. 4. After complaining via phone- they refused to give me any money back for the elevator charge and the wasted tape bull****. They said it was 'all disclosed on the phone call' which was 30 seconds of a fly by disclosure. Who can remember all that? I could barely keep up with an auction disclosure? There was no $90 charge mention for using an elevator. I'd bring everything down myself if I knew that! All 120lbs of me. 5. They gave me no option to help to make this cheaper for me. I'm a single young lady and they took advantage of me and made it seem like it was no big deal to help me do this or that  - and then slapped me with the bill for each thing they 'helped' me with. Let's just say I helped along this process A LOT. I should have moved myself! 6. I kept asking if I'd get charged for this and that and they just kept saying they were just the movers and can't disclose or discuss prices (something like that- it was some sort of 'I don't know' answer.) Bullshit they don't know! They're the ones who have to document it all. Then my bill was $500 more than I was quoted! I couldn't believe how I was treated. If you worry about cost I would NOT use this company. $60 for tape?! I understand they need to charge for services but seriously, an elevator charge? Suck my balls!!They say I'm not a customer but I am. I moved last year from LA to Chicago and am still pissed enough to write this review.

Used Elite to move me after living in the same house for nearly 20 years. They were efficient and extremely careful. It's clear that they know exactly what they are doing. Their system of having a "foreman" that interfaces between you and the crew is really effective and ensures you feel heard and responded to. All in all a first class experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone that needs a mover and wants it done right.
