Express Moves

Express moves was a great delivery company to pick. I am so glad I found them using Thumbtack. They came to my apartment within the two hour delivery window, and were able to move my one bedroom apartment 15 miles away in under two hours. The total charge was under $110. The two movers were polite and friendly, and they took good care of my things which is nice.Will definitely use them again if I have to move; they made my life so much easier but hopefully I don't have to move anytime soon though. LOL.

Marcus and another guy, whose name I forgot, moved an extremely heavy G5 LifeFitness exercise machine for me. They disassembled it at my place and reassembled it at another. The price was right and they did such a great job with speed and efficiency that I tipped them. Thank you guys. I recommend this company.

One star would be way too much for this company!!!! Very unhappy with this company. Scheduled an appointment between 8-noon. Called several times to get an update and every single time I was told they would call my driver and call me back. I never received a call back! They never called or showed up for their scheduled appointment. That afternoon I called yet again and was told the driver would arrive about 4pm or a little later. It ended up being close to 5. As soon as they walked in all I heard were reasons why they couldn't get the job done but swore if I rescheduled they would return. Well, despite better judgment I did reschedule. I was given a time slot two days later between 1-2. I told the lady on the phone I had to have the job done by 4pm. Yet again....No show. I called again asking what the status was. I was told they would call the driver and call me back. No call! 45 minutes later I called again and was told the exact same thing, that they will call me back. I am starting to think their phone doesn't call out. For 4 days of dealing with them they never once returned a call. They have zero customer service skills and do not care to have your business I guess. I would never recommend this business!  I wish I would have seen the other bad reviews. My experience was as bad as the others. The only good thing was they didn't damage anything.......but  that's only because they didn't pick up anything.

An appointment was scheduled 8/2/16 for the time window of 8 a.m. to noon to move a Murphy bed. The company showed at 2:13 p.m. The entire job was to disassemble, move and reassemble the bed. The movers detached the bed from the wall and moved it to the new home. While the bed was being reassembled to the wall, the bed was dropped and broken. Robert, the manager, stated that it was the employees fault as they should have never removed anything from a wall, let alone reattach it, despite that fact that Murphy beds are typically attached to walls. Not once was this conveyed to me or the homeowners during the bidding or moving process to allow us to make a different decision. Regardless of the employees fault, it is still Express Moves responsibility to repair or pay for damages. Multiple attempts have been made to contact the company about a resolution for the damaged bed, but nothing has been done to resolve the situation nor have they kept in contact to try to resolve it.

They are fast, they are nice, and they are low cost. I am about to use them for the 2nd time.
