C2 Moving

I write this review with a very heavy heart. I used C2 movers in 2013 and they did an amazing job at a reasonable price. But this year it was horrendous. They were supposed to come with two trucks and for men they came with one truck and three men because of that they had to drive the truck back to their location unload it and come back again which cost me more money my items had to be stored for approximately 3 weeks which they did when they brought they were supposed to bring my furniture on April 20th they did not show up. They came April 21st 5 pieces were damaged one panel of a very expensive table is totally cracked across the side, my cherry kitchen table is gouged and chipped and a $400 floor lamp is missing. I have not heard a word from their insurance company there is been no restitution of any kind and they do not even answer my phone calls. Sorry Charlie your company is going down the tubes.

The name they went under when I hired them was C 2 Moving Company and they were to have 3 men and a truck.  The company was supposed to be fully insured  The move was scheduled from Surprise, AZ to Maricopa AZ, but the load was stored for 2 nights in a locked air conditioned warehouse.  When the furniture was delivered a full side panel was missing from my Stone Creek custom entertainment center.  They lost the panel and broke an expensive Greek vase  They were supposed to contact Stone Creek to arrange a replacement for the entertainment panel.  The only restitution they made for the Greek vase was for me to weigh the broken vase and they would pay me 10 cents a pound.  They did not stand by restitution for my damage and that is unacceptable.  Posted for my friend who had this move 10/18/2016.

This was the shortest move we have every done, with the least amount of stuff (we sold all of our furniture to start new), and it was also by far the most expensive, and took the longest.  We requested 3 movers, as well as packing our kitchen for an Angie's List deal.  The day of the move, 2 movers showed up with no packing material.  So, someone dropped of packing material and another mover (who definitely did NOT want to work that day!).  We moved boxes (all already packed), 1 queen bed, dresser, small couch, crib, and baby's changing table.  This took over 6 hours to load.  We moved about 5 miles, and the entire move lasted from 7 past 5pm.  Then we were charged over $1000.  My husband complained, and we were told now over 10 days ago we would receive $250 back.  Charles was supposed to drop it off, but apparently, someone dropped it in the mail over a week ago, and this check is no where to be found.  There are plenty of movers out there.  Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere.  Not sure how these guys have A rating on Angie's List....

Donovan and the crew were careful and did a great job moving my parents across town. I will definitely hire this company again.

Half my move over with- packed up and loaded.  Delivery to Tennessee is for Saturday.  Dre and his team was incredibly professional.  4 nice guys in total who worked hard and fast to get my huge load packed on on the truck in 6 hours.I've moved many times and the team from C2 were among the best I've used.  Since I did not have the time to bid it out I can't speak about price.  Maybe it was a bit high but I'm rather pay more and get great movers than go cheap and cry later.  All in all 5 start so far.  Will pot again Saturday, 2 days from now, when my good are delivered!Be concerned about very low scores from some reviewers,  It is not uncommon for competitors to write bad reviews.  A sad business practice but a sign of the times.  I am a real person and will respond if you ask me.Bob Abidor
