Let's face it: MOVING SUCKS!!!  Anyway you slice it, moving is the worst thing on the planet.  Who wants to pack all their crap, call a few buddies and try to bribe them with free beer and pizza to come lug someone else's crap all over the city?  Charles and his team of professionals at C2 Moving made our family move as easy and painless as any other move.  Period.Charles came highly recommended to me by my mother. Charles personally came out to our house and visually inspected everything before offering me a quote. His price was fair and we felt good about moving forward with him.  Due to our unique situation, Charles offered us 2 months of free storage at his temperature controlled facility.The men that moved us where friendly, attentive, clean (sorry but that is not always the norm), and they worked on purpose.  We never felt like they were dragging around just to rack up the by the hour pricing!  We were very pleased with the attention to detail the C2 moving team gave our possessions during the load up to move.  We ended up requiring an extra truck to move our stuff.  They did not charge us for the extra truck.Once we had out stuff stored, we never heard a peep from the C2 Moving until we called to schedule our move.  We contacted C2 & Charles' team on a Friday and had our stuff delivered 2 days later!  These guys are impressive.When we unloaded our house full of possessions, we found almost everything was perfect.  We lost a rather large picture frame and one of the kids' toy kitchen was damaged.  Charles' men pointed out the damage and INSISTED on taking it for repair!  Seriously?  What moving company outside of C2 operates this way?Not that I am looking forward to moving anytime soon but if we did, there is only one call I would make!  I have zero reservations about recommending C2 and Charles moving forward, pun intended.

I'm writing this on behalf of a friend who used C2 MOVERS, and does not have a Yelp account:If you currently have furniture stored with this company, they have recently closed down/suspended their business WITHOUT NOTIFYING CUSTOMERS. Your items are at risk of being sent to auction! Your items are being held by another company called Bargain Storage. The owner at C2 movers has NOT PAID the owner at Bargain Storage(so we were told). We were told you would not be charged to pick up your items. You can contact Bargain Storage at 480-898-1235

This review is long overdue. This is by far the worst company I have ever worked with. I hired C2 for my move at the end of April 2017. I made the arrangements with Charles the owner 6 weeks in advance. I have Charles my credit card info and was told he was going to charge a deposit and send me confirmation.  I never received any form of confirmation from Charles. I call three other times prior to the move to confirm. All Charles could tell me was not to worry, his guys would be there in the scheduled date at 7:00 AM. Moving Day rolls around and 7 o'clock comes and goes. I received a phone call from somebody from the company at 7:30 AM informing me that they had a to unload the trucks from the night before and would be late. When I ask how late she said that they would arrive no later than 9:30 AM. I waited until 9:30 AM and no movers show up. I tried to call Charles from my cell phone and he does not answer. I try several times and received no response. I finally contact him with my wife's phone number, a number he has never received, and he answered right away. It was very clear that he was screening my calls.  Charles assures me that his guys are on the way and should be there within an hour.  An hour rolls around and nothing. I now try to contact Charles from both phones and he does not answer.  I then call Charles for my third work cell phone and he answered right away.  Again, it is very clear that he was screening my calls. After several more hours, a crew finally shows up at 1:30 PM.  The crew that showed up said that they had no idea they were going to be doing a move at my house that day. They said they were on their way home from a move earlier in the morning when Charles called them and told them to come to my house.Because of their level of exhaustion from the prior move, it took the movers close to nine hours to finish my move. One of the men on the crew was so exhausted that he nearly passed out inside the truck. My bill also amounted to over $1000.  My check was quickly cashed the very next business day. My experience with this company is by far the worst moving experience I've ever had.  I would advise anybody that is considering this company to proceed with the upmost caution.

C2 moving was the most horrific moving experience I have ever had in my entire life. I purchased a Groupon for $269 which provided me with three movers for four hours. I set up the move to start at 7am. I called C2 and requested to put down a deposit or receive some sort of paperwork stating I was scheduled for my move day. They declined both and told me not to worry they would be there. The morning of the move dawned and the movers had not arrived by 8am I became extremely concerned. I called C2 and no one answered so I left a message. I finally received a call back around 8:30am from Charles telling me there had been a hiccup and the trucks were fueling and would be at my house in 30 mins. No one ever called me to tell me that they would be late. 9am rolls around and Charles again answers the phone and says sorry the trucks are just about to leave. They will be there in 30 mins. Mind you I have friends and family waiting around to help me move. 945am and no sign on the movers. I call again and a woman answers and says the trucks have left and will be there in 30 mins. Still no one has bothered to call me and say a thing about being late. 10:15am and still no movers. I call again and I am told by Charles that my three movers just left and will be there soon. Still no explanation or apology. 10:37am and the movers show up. There are only two movers. I paid for three. Now I generally have no issues with the movers except that they both told me it was their first time moving and Charles pays them each $10 an hour under the table. It took them 7 hours to move my one bedroom apartment and single car garage five miles. So it comes time to pay the bill and they try to make me pay for three movers for 7.5 hours per mover plus travel fee, mileage and packing supplies. Per the Groupon contract I am obligated to pay for a $70 travel fee and a $50 two story house fee. That is all. There is nothing in the fine print other than that plus my moving rate which I already paid. I refused to sign it and asked to speak to Charles to talk to him.Charles proceeded to explain to me some very fuzzy math and when I disagreed with him and tried to explain to him the Groupon he cussed me out and hung up.Charles and his movers then proceeded to harass me for the next three hours calling me over 30 times, threatening to come down to my house and we "can handle this outside" and saying "I can't control my movers they are gonna do what they are gonna do" and repeatedly cussing me out over the phone and text message.All the while I was offering Charles to pay for the two movers and the fees spelled out in my Groupon. Charles continued to refuse and threaten me.Charles finally told me to go bleep off and that he would ensure I delivered him the check in person Overall I would give them minus 10 stars if possible. Do not use under any circumstances. It was the worst move of my life and gall of Charles and his movers to threaten me and harass me repeatedly blows my mind.

We all know how much goes into planning a move...many more people involved than just the movers.  My daughter works like crazy and needed to find a mover that works on Sunday.  After much research, she found and paid for a move scheduled today with C2 Movers.  The time slot was 10am to 12pm.  We got a call at 7:30 am that the window would be moved to 1 to 4pm because of a "hiccup".  We're all fine with that (all 5 of us who have taken the day to help!) However, 4pm comes and goes with no contact.   No calls from or contact by this company. At 4:10pm I called the number on the website, leaving a message and then calling their "emergency" number (which is disconnected) I sent an email.  In about 10 minutes I received a phone call from Brooke who said they were short-staffed and the "owner" was working with the crew all day (which apparently is why HE couldn't call) but they would be there in "about an hour"...that was at 4:10.  At 7pm, still no call and no show.  Another phone call and Brooke said they are en route from Mesa.  We advised them that 8pm was as late as we could wait.   No further response, No Show, completely failed to perform, or even maintain contact.  Do not use this company, seriously...they can't even call.  Received a text at 8:30 pm they were "on the way".  Sorry, we all have to get up and go to work provide GREAT customer service to our clients tomorrow.Don't waste your time or money on this company.
