C2 Moving

Couple things.1 - I had explained to the company that I was moving from a 3500 sqft home... and yet they only sent one truck to house my contents. When that one truck was full, ALL THREE of the guys rode in the full truck back to Mesa to bring back a second empty truck. Why couldn't just one guy do that, while the others stayed behind to continue wrapping furniture and move things out to the driveway for faster loading when the new truck arrived. It cost me hundreds of dollars to watch 3 guys ride off on my dime!!C2 would not apologize or compensate for the poor estimate of space needed, or the "travel costs" associated with the "no work zone" which was created when they all took off for a 3 hour break.2 - Since the move, I have tried to call the office - phone is disconnected? I've tried to email several times, and no one has responded. I am missing a box that was taken from my home but never delivered to the new one. It must be there somewhere in the C2 warehouse... but I can't get a response.Nice guys did the move.They were clean and polite.

So, Phoenix Moving / C2 Moving (different company names, but both companies are owned by the same family and operate out of the same office, so I don't know what the difference between them might be) could be good at moving furniture. They didn't move mine, so I don't know. What I do know is, they are terrible at 1) not damaging property while moving and 2) repairing the damage they have done. Both those areas are pretty important for moving companies, too.While moving out the previous owner of my home in late July, workers for Phoenix Moving damaged the wood floor in the house's master bedroom. They left a long scratch on it, deep enough that it is isn't a quick "apply some stain and call it good" project. They assured the previous owner that they would make the damage right. The previous owner gave the company's information to us, the new owners of the home, so we could work with Phoenix Moving to repairs made. It has been over two months since the damage occurred. In that time, we have received nothing but broken promises that the damage would be fixed.We've have reached out to this company repeatedly by phone and email. We started by working with a woman named Amy in August; she helped set up a time for someone from C2 Moving to take a look at the damage.  On August 9th, a man wearing a C2 Moving shirt came out and reviewed the scratched floor and took pictures of the damage.  When asked him if someone in the company would make the repair, he stated that C2 Moving would hire a floor repair professional to make the repairs. Great. That was what we wanted to hear. We followed up by email to C2 Moving on August 12th with information regarding the floors that the previous owner had given us. Despite having taken pictures and being given information, no appointment with a professional to make repairs was ever made.On September 1st we had to start working with Kelly at C2 Moving, because Amy was no longer with the company. No one from the company reached back to us; we always had to take the initiative to follow up when the promised day for them to contact us passed by with no phone call or email. We have followed up about the status of the repairs multiple times and every time, we hear excuses or that something was being scheduled...but nothing is ever scheduled. As far as we can tell, nothing is being done at all except for making empty promises to take action that never occurs.I had expected to have this floor repaired by now. After being repeatedly left hanging by C2 Moving, I no longer believe they are or ever were serious about the promise to make right the damage they caused. Instead, they clearly just want to string us along until I give up, letting them walk away from their responsibilities. I want to warn the community that when they work with Phoenix Moving and C2 Moving, they run the risk of property damage and broken promises. This isn't a fair way to run a business, especially one where you have to trust people to come into your home and take care of your possessions. I haven't asked for anything extraordinary. I've just asked them to keep their word and fix the damage they caused, like they promised they would.Phoenix Moving / C2 Moving is great at making promises. They are terrible at following through on them. Remember that before you decide to let them into your home and take charge of all your possessions. If something goes wrong, you're going to be on your own.

I have never in my life had such a Horrific experience with a moving company!  I had been scheduled for them to move me today , in the miserable Arizona summer so I couldn't do the move myself . These guys never showed up! They make all kinds of promises on the phone and then never showed up the day of, which is today !  They completely stranded me . I called yesterday afternoon  to confirm,  and they said we are all set for 730 am today. At 745 am I called them to ask if they were on their way, as they were late  . No answer . I kept calling their business number , and Charles  texted me to not call him and only to text! I texted multiple times and tried calling again, as I was in a complete panic . They shut off their phones and left me completely stranded on moving day, today . I somehow got another  fabulous  moving company out here just now , in a total emergency !  Tom, Rocky,  and Zach of Arizona Brothers   moving company saved the day  . Do not buy the C2 company's Groupon, and  do not listen to Charles make promises to you about their customer service because the company never actually shows up to the job. It is no almost 1230 and they never even called to say they aren't coming. Just complete and total ghosting on moving day !

Not a customer. But a concerned citizen who watched 3 of your employees take up 4 parking spaces 2 of them being handicapped and watching those with handicapped plates walk further because your employees dont want to walk. I can only imagine what short cuts your company will do when actual work is involved.

Great team! I called pretty late but Charles was still happy to take my call and very transparent about pricing. I am a single mom going empty nest after 17 years of raising 4 kids, so the move was a major transition in my life, and also A LOT of work with all 4 kids out of the area. Throughout the entire process, I was made to feel at ease, and cared for as a customer.The day of the move, Donovan and his team showed up on time, and found that I still had miscellaneous stuff to pack, but they took over and quickly got things packed and loaded! (In spite of my dog constantly pestering one of them to throw his beloved ball for him). Moving into a 1-bedroom apartment, I wasn't sure how everything was going to fit, but the team was great about helping me set things up (and moved around a couple times). Garrett even assembled my new dining set for me! (We were already approaching the 3 hrs I'd booked, and they weren't quite done lugging everything upstairs, but Donovan made sure I was okay with the $115/hr charge before starting.) When it came time to close out the bill, Donovan explained everything, including the fees I've seen others on Yelp complaining about. There were no unexpected surprises,  I've had family & friends move me plenty of times, and there is never the same level of respect for your belongings, no matter how close they are. It's worth it to pay for movers and let them use the padding to protect your valuables.The whole team - Donovan, Garrett and Leo - were all friendly, professional, and caring. They did an amazing job in our lovely AZ 112-degree monsoon temps! By the time they were done, I felt like we'd become friends, and I needed to invite back over to see the finished results! I'd definitely recommend and would use again in the future. Thanks for everything!
