Had movers come in on Friday morning, father and son team did a great job moving from apt. to storage.  will recommend them to others in the community.  thanks

Horrible company!  Absolutely no professionalism! I confirmed the move date and time 3 times with them including twice the day before. Then I get a call one hour before they were to show up to move me and was told because it was sprinkling outside they could not find a crew to move me. Ron, the owner arranged another crew from another company, Almighty Movers, who had no problem moving me with sprinking rain. I just ended up spending more money than I was quoted and budgeted for the move.

Ok, I've only used these movers, but I'm gonna say as good as it gets because I was nervous about the move and happy with the service.Fishing through listings from a Google search, I liked the name, so called for a quote. I spoke with a jovial fellow with a New Yawk accent who answered all of my questions and pointed out a few things I would need to consider. I really appreciated his being helpful, since my only knowledge on the subject came from checklists I read on the web. I also loved his attitude - I laughed a lot on that price-quote call. He wooed me.The day of my move, the truck was a few minutes late, but it was early on a Saturday morning..... they were maybe 15 minutes late when they arrived, which is completely within my window of acceptable punctuality (I can't throw-a the stones....especially on Saturday mornings).The guys who moved my things were a blast (thanks, Pete & Anthony!). They had giant smiles - even on a Saturday morning - even when they were moving my stuff into a second floor apartment with two turns halfway up. One of the guys joked and sang lyrics from hip hop songs as they worked, which entertained me.Obviously your mileage may vary - I don't know that you can expect to have a comedy show with your move - but I'm recommending you give them a call. Oh, but warning: turn your sound off if you visit their site from work - there's some loud music when you load each page.

Exceptional!  Rarely am I compelled to write a review for a company, good or bad.  I have moved 7 times in 10 years, my husband's company usually pays, most recently from Dallas.  We moved into an apartment until we could find a house and because of my horrific (seriously) experiences with even the large nation-wide movers I was worried, since we would pay for this move on our own.Leslie was my crew leader, he and his guys were amazing!  I paid by the hour and they still worked quickly.  This is the best experience I have ever had.  I would recommend them to anyone!  Here is a shocker: I was charged exactly what I was quoted.  Hello?  That is new.  In an industry, where you are lucky not to be ripped off, it is rare to find a company to take care of you. Ron is an honest businessman and Leslie and his guys are class acts!

I used MovinOn a few months back and would not recommend them.  The actual movers did a good job and they were prompt and very nice.  However, the owner of the company was one of the most difficult people I have ever dealt with.  One of my appliances was dropped onto its side while the movers were unloading it, but I kept my cool because I understand that accidents happen.  I thought to myself, every commercial moving company has insurance and wants to keep their customers happy, etc. after one of their employees drops and breaks something, so I'll just resolve this with the owner.After the movers finished,  I paid them--which I agree with other reviewers, the fact that only the owner can run credit cards over the phone is ridiculous.  The movers don't have the authority to write down credit card info, so it took another 10 minutes to track down the owner so the mover could read my credit card info over the phone to him. Now, the damaged appliance.  The owner told me to see if my washer still ran and then he'd decide if he needed to fix it.  I explained that even if it still ran, it had been dropped onto its side, had cracked parts, and was bent out of shape.  His response was, Well what is it that you'd like me to do?  I explained I wanted him to repair what his employees had damaged--not unreasonable.  He would not.  In fact, he said, I'm sorry your washing machine may be on its last leg, but that shouldn't be something I have to pay for.  After a number of back and forth calls and e-mails, I finally got $20 bucks out of him to pay for the broken detergent tray.  The machine is still wonky and now shakes the walls when it runs.  I didn't expect to be provided with a brand-new front loading washer.  I did however expect to be compensated for the damage his employees caused and not be treated like that was an outrageous request.
