I've use Jerry Wood Moving four times through the years.  You  couldn't ask for better service, greater care with moving furniture--mine is "high end" and I'm very particular about the care of my belongings.  When I had to put things in storage, they  carefully wrapped everything.  They put down paper in the entry way and hallways so that they didn't get the carpets dirty, and their efficiency and  prices is  tops!!  I call his moving guys "the puzzle masters".  It's great fun to watch how beautifully they organize and pack everything.  They waste no time getting things done.  Very professional and enjoyable to work with, arrive on time.  They're as good as it gets period.

6/11/12We highly recommend Jerry Wood Moving.  We recently moved from a two bedroom apartment and large storage unit (two different locations) to a downtown townhouse with storage in the parking garage (three new locations).  Todd's capable crew of strong, polite, careful, intelligent young men transformed our dreaded moving day into an amazingly delightful experience:EQUIPMENT:  They arrived with the right-sized truck, crew, equipment and materials necessary to carefully wrap or bundle everything for quick transport.EXPERIENCE, SKILL, EFFORT:  The crew had the move down to a coordinated effort, displaying talent almost as beautiful to watch as a well-practiced ballet.  ON TIME AND UNDER BUDGET:  They arrived on the date and time as promised.  Because of the incredible hustle of the crew, several hours were shaved from the budgeted time--which translated into several hundred dollars' savings to us off the original bid--a surprise we've NEVER had!ABOVE AND BEYOND:  At every point of the move they would take the time to ask questions and get specific directions on where each piece of furniture and box was to be located.  Several times they pointed out an issue we had overlooked, saving us time and effort.  They brought their brains and their hearts and their muscles to this job. Before they left, they even asked us if there were any other projects/tasks they could help us with.  When it was time for these wonderful young men to leave, we were already starting to miss them!  We will always be grateful to Todd and his great crew for helping us move so effortlessly into our new home.  Katherine & David LSan Jose CA

Let me just state that I've had horrendous experiences with moving companies in the past; last year we got scammed and were told our stuff wouldn't get unloaded off the truck until we paid a RIDICULOUS fee that wasn't the agreed upon deal. In light of this, I figured ANY movers that didn't bring me to tears would be better than that. I've never wanted to give a moving company such a glowing review. They were PHENOMENAL. They moved my massive sleeper sofa up 2 flights of very narrow stairs, and even asked if I liked the way it looked there, offering to move it to the other wall if I didn't like it. Really?! I was super impressed, and they came highly recommended by two trustworthy sources and now I see why. They were professional, really nice and just normal (I've had uber weird/awkward movers previously). Nothing had a scratch on it, and they moved everything in the exact estimated time so the price was exactly the same as the contract stated. That, to me, is perfection during a time of extreme stress. I hate moving, but they made it bearable. Thanks Brian and Noah, I owe you guys a drink :)

This moving company is great.  They did everything I asked for at a very competitive price.  I've never used a moving company before, so I diligently called 4 companies to come to my house in Milpitas for an estimate.(3 bedrooms)  One company had horrible communication with me, and one other had a price estimate through the roof!  Todd was very professional and gave me a quote on the spot.  I liked that.  Also his price was the best. They showed up ON TIME and got busy right away.  They wrapped my furniture so protectively I was very impressed. Nothing broke, no scratched walls, etc. Hanging clothing in garment boxes - nice! Only thing is I wish they (or I) had put something protective on the new (beige) carpet. It didn't get dirty, but the washing machine did drip a few drops on the carpet as they took it out.  So I made sure to put something down before they took the refrig out.  They moved me to a large mini-storage unit I rented and you can't believe how nice they arranged everything.  Very neat and tidy. Todd was very diligent about how he arranged boxes and furniture. He even split "hubbys" boxes on one side and "wife" on the other because we will split it later on. I would use them again. Be exact what your needs are during the estimate visit. No surprises or unrealistic expectations is best for everyone. I even paid Todd a little extra as a tip for his 2 hired movers as I was so happy.

These guys did a wonderful job moving me from Campbell to Livermore. They were friendly, courteous, professional and clearly knew what they were doing. Everything arrived safe and sound, including all my fragile artwork. Their price was very reasonable. I'll use them again. Thanks guys!
