I have been putting off this review in hopes he would redeem himself, it hasn't happened. The movers showed up a half hour late, not a huge deal. They proceeded to scratch the heck out of the wood floors in our old place, even after I pointed it out and ask them to stop dragging things. When we arrived at the new house we saw how they had stacked the Fragile boxes on bottom and almost all boxes were crushed in. Numerous bubble wrapped items were broken among other things, I found Santa's concrete foot shoved down inside an artificial plant. We have broken dishes, crystal, mirror etc. Smudges on the edges of the mattresses, I saw this happening and said something (apparently it's ok not to wrap them and drag the edges in the house). The workmen could not all read English (fragile) on the boxes, they were all nice (little did we know they were hiding broken things. It was like having your friends move you, not professionals, these guys did bust their butts but dropping already crushed boxes six inches from a tile floor just doesn't cut it. The entire time the head guy heavily complained about the company being terrible and having quit them 3x, but he needed a job. At least two other moves were scheduled for that day and didn't happen, so glad we were first on the list. The biggest disappointment by far was Wayne, he seemed so nice on the phone. I emailed pics of all the broken items and kept him updated, he never responded. I ask repeatedly for him to please respond and let me know how we needed to proceed for his insurance to cover the damages, he never responded. I called the company number, it had been disconnected. Luckily he had given me his cell, I called and woke him up, he said he had received my emails and would call me back, he never did. I would not recommend this horrible company ever!

This was by far the worst experience I ever could have imagined for moving. Our appointment time was 10am and our window was 10-12. After multiple back and forth phone calls with the office, the movers finally showed up at 2:40. When they showed up, they didn't even know what they were moving. It took them 3 hours to load a two bedroom apartment on the first floor and then 4 hours to unload at a townhouse (1-2 miles away). The whole process took 7 HOURS - it should not have taken any longer than 4 hours max with 3 men, and they showed up 5 hours after our appointment time. A complete waste of our day and everyone's time.I am really not sure what took so long, but we had 3 movers and sometimes there was only 1 in the house working on things. A lot of the time they were giving us a hard time about going up the stairs at the townhouse. I would never recommend Move Masters to anyone and was extremely disappointed in the professionalism and efficiency of this company. I am never one to write reviews, but this was just such a terrible experience that I couldn't just let it go. The office person that helped me was helpful, but I still had to be the one to call every hour or so when they weren't here asking for an update. Cost wise I think they were reasonable with us and I can't complain about that (as they were working with us for 7 hours), but I would never again use them or tell anyone else to use them because this was the worst moving service.

Their license has been revoked from the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (I found this out while attempting to file a complaint against them) at the time that this review was submitted. You can go to txdmv.gov or apps.txdmv.gov/apps/mccs… to check if a moving company is licensed by the State of Texas.Hired them in September of 2014 for a move. Two pieces of my furniture were damaged, and although I was promised that my furniture would be repaired and returned to me at no extra cost, in September 2015 I ended up having to rent a truck to pick up my furniture from their storage space. To top it off one of my pieces was still broken. I would give them -1 stars if I could and here's why: -1 star: they lost my furniture for about 8 months or so. Instead of returning my furniture to me promptly after it was repaired. Instead, after my furniture was returned to them from the repair shop it was placed into one of their storage units. Ostensibly this happened because the proprietor had taken ill and my furniture had been returned in his absence, but the fact that no one else knew what to do with my furniture when it was returned to Move Masters is a bit unsettling. Once I was able to reestablish contact with the proprietor it still took several months for them to find my furniture in their storage facilities. -1 star: the sheer unprofessionalism of the proprietor. I don't know if I've ever received such terrible customer service. While the proprietor was rather assuring and courteous to start off, when things went wrong he quickly lost his cool. He became difficult when pressed on the matter of my lost furniture, and eventually stopped answering my emails or returning my calls. It took filing a compliant with the Better Business Bureau to get him to respond to me, and even then he was confrontational and difficult to deal with. We exchanged emails back and forth through the BBB for several weeks, which ended up feeling like he was holding my furniture hostage just to be difficult. It actually took the intervention of the Texas DMV to produce any real results. I had also filed a complaint with them at the same time that I had filed with the BBB, and once the Texas DMV finally responded to my complaint the tone of the proprietor's correspondences changed. -1 star: the issue was actually resolved by the Texas DMV, not by the proprietor, and in fact the proprietor was obstinate throughout the entire process. -1 star: a mirror on one of the pieces was still broken when it was finally found. Instead of offering to pay to fix the piece a second time, as it was damaged while in the care of Move Masters, no offer for recompense was initially made. Although, when I did go to pick up the furniture it was brought to my attention that the proprietor was willing to pay a flat rate compensation, which wouldn't have even covered the cost of renting the van that I rented to go recover my property from Move Masters' storage facility. -1 star: ultimately I had to take half of a day off, rent a moving van and enlist help to go over to Move Masters' storage facility to retrieve my furniture. Again, I was promised that my furniture would be repaired and returned to me at no extra cost. Although I was told that the company was without a fleet of vehicles and that they would not be able to transport my furniture to me, there was a Move Masters truck parked on site when I arrived at their storage facility. Also, when I called the Move Masters office to arrange to come pick up my furniture, for a moment the receptionist asked me if I wanted them to deliver my furniture back to me. Once she realized who I was I was informed that I would have to come and pick it up as per the instructions of the proprietor. I suspect that in all of this the proprietor was just being difficult.-1 star: owner gives his own business 5-star ratings to bump up his Yelp rating. Owner started trolling me on Yelp after I gave him a bad rating. Totally unethical.

We had a great experience with this service. It was super affordable, the 3 guys were polite and professional and quick.  They had a big job ahead of them,  moving my house and my boyfriend's townhome to the home we bought together. They arrived right on time at 9 am and I think they were done right after lunch. They didn't scratch any walls, knick any furniture and wrapped everything,  took apart and reassembled things for me. Super nice people with a large, clean truck. We expected our move to cost significantly more and were pleasantly surprised when the total was almost half of what we anticipated. I am recommending this to everyone I know. So glad we used them!

Though there was one small issue, I am giving 5 stars because the matter was dealt with promptly and satisfactorily. The two movers were timely and worked efficiently and safely in the handling of all furniture. The issue regarded a special request for a specified number of wardrobe boxes, which the dispatcher assured me would be included upon arrival. Unfortunately, there were only two boxes with no rod included. The movers made an alternate suggestion, which was not to my satisfaction, so called dispatch which had additional boxes delivered to my address. Now that's service!
