I was overwhelmed trying to search for a moving service considering horror stories i had heard from friends. First impression was the person on phone was very responsive and professional in asking abut my requirements and considering good reviews on yelp i went with them.Now, on the day of the move they were late, when i called they were prompt in reply .. but this is a small issue and still the 5 stars , Zack and steve were very courteous and extremely fast in the move, and made it very stress free for me. Will definitely use them next time.

Absolutely hopeless moving company: USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. They managed to damage two steelcase filing cabinets beyond repair (how do you even do that?). A desk was also damaged and was taken away by them to be repaired. After 2 weeks they told us that the desk was not repairable and that it would be replaced. More weeks have passed without action and now they will not return our calls. Their quote may look attractive, but what we saved on the front end we lost on the back end.

I really had high hopes for this company.  The reviews on both Yelp and Thumbtack were great, so I decided to go with them.The Good:1 - My initial interaction/communication with Move Masters was great.  I received an estimate via Thumbtack shortly after I submitted the request. The quote was confirmed via a phone conversation with Melinda who was extremely professional and thorough. After I booked the move, she sent me an email confirmation with all of the details of the move.2  - The movers arrived within the estimated window on move day.The Bad:1 - On move day, everything was off to a great start in the beginning, but the guys (I went with 3 movers) seemed to drag quite a bit towards the end (of the first leg - loading the truck).  I later learned that I was their second move of the day.  Lesson learned for me...be the first move of the day.2 - After everything was loaded on to the truck, they asked if they could stop to grab dinner. I thought this was a bit odd, but had no issues with this.  It just took a bit longer than I expected.3 - During the second leg of the move (unloading the truck), furniture was dropped, furniture was damaged, and my living room wall was dinged.  Additionally, one of the movers pretty much threw a tantrum because one of the other movers told him to do something that he did not want to do (i.e. stop taking personal calls on the job).  At that point, I was just ready for the move to be over, so I pitched in to help move items from the truck to the apartment.  I understand that they had to go up and down stairs and that the boxes were heavy, but that's what I hired them for.  Towards the end, they seemed to want to just put boxes anywhere instead of where I wanted them to go.I don't think I will hire them again, which is unfortunate because I actually need to move again in a few weeks.

Outstanding service. Called and told me they could move me sooner because they were finish with the job before me. Came in started moving items and placing on truck without any problems. They moved the items in a very professional manner and have the new location looked up with directions, so I didn't have to tell them how to get to the new location. They unpacked the truck and stack everything in a location I need.Also, this company has REAL printed forms and information to give customer, NOT like others that just use a copy machine. Very professional!The driver went over the charges and pointed them out on the professional form he gave me to have for my record.The rates for the move was fair and the three movers acted in a very professional manner.Any company that has REAL printed forms and information to give customers tells me they are a REAL mover company, not just a guy with a large truck picked day workers to move me!

My family and I used Move Masters to move us from one home to another. The moving day was not the best. We watched as these untrained movers carelessly broke are belongings. They started by wrapping and protecting our items but then they got lazy or careless and stopped padding our breakables and just started loading things in the truck. I watched as my brand new dresser was dropped as it was being loaded into the truck and then dropped again as they were unloading it at the new house. I thought watching our things get broken the day of the move was the worst of it but boy was I wrong. The real TORTURE were the MONTHS to follow. Dealing with this company is agonizing. They are unprofessional and have zero communication skills. I filed a claim for our damaged items 2 weeks after our move but it wasn't until 7  1/2 MONTHS later that I FINALLY received compensation for my damaged items (and it doesn't even cover 1/2 the cost). It was months of poor communication (on their part, I called or emailed weekly), lack of respect from them and the manager put the blame on me. He never once sincerely apologized or took ownership. It was always someone else's fault. It was his assistants fault for not responding to my email, it was the movers fault for being in a rush, it was my fault for not putting his name in the subject line of the email, and it was the post office's fault for "losing" the check he sent. (He supposedly sent 4 checks by the way... I only received 1.) It took so long to review our claim because my husband posted a negative review online. (It wasn't until after that negative review that we actually heard from him at all!) I was nothing but nice and understanding during the whole process and I got nothing but excuses (and a headache) in return.  I highly recommend you NOT use this company.
