Los Flores Movers

I have already used Los Flores for two moves and they have been fantastic: professional and careful with things, yet very efficient. I highly recommend them and will certainly use them for any future move.

Where to start, this has been the 3rd time I use Los Flores Movers, and it seems to be a hit, and miss with them.  The first time was many years ago, and the experience was EXCELLENT. I understand that moving requires a lot of physical strength, and can be even more trying mid-afternoon in the Texas heat. With that said, I had a 3 man crew on a Sunday. Of those 3 the youngest (Jhonathon) was by far the best, and strongest leading the other 2. One was much slower and would go MIA from time to time. I was VERY clear that I wanted my leather sofas to get extra care from top to bottom, and unfortunately that did not happen.PROS:Good attitudeHard workers taking into consideration age, physical health, and the heat.My TV arrived safe with no scratchesCONS:Some crew members aren't as fast as othersLacking attention to detail in some items (leather sofas ended up getting scuffed as well as one of the dark wood legs got chipped)Crew was extremely sweaty and sweat was constantly dripping on my belongings (again due to the heat I'm not sure how this can be avoided maybe carry extra shirts to change or towels)Not enough water was brought on their part to stay hydratedRECOMMENDATIONS:Schedule your move in the morning only that way your crew is not worn out.Be aware that the "tv insurance" is not a must it's your choice. Organize your boxes/ belongings to make the move more efficient, and reduce time

I used Los Flores for two moves in the last few weeks (out of my old house and then into my new one after painting) and they were fantastic both times. Nice respectful guys, showed up on time, were well-organized, really hustled the entire time and did a great job of making sure everything was moved carefully. They got both moves done faster than I could have expected and with no stress at all on my part. I will absolutely be recommending them to all my friends.

Overall, I'm very happy with the service that I received. We called with relatively short notice for a friday move and los flores was able to accomodate us at a good price. The 3 man team arrived early due to imminent weather and got to work quickly. The truck they brought was easily twice as big as we needed, so next time, I know to specify the amount of furniture being moved. For the most part, they worked quickly and efficiently. They got everything de/constructed, prepped, and un/packed very quickly. The only major time delays were traffic... and one of the movers.I was moved on 5/30/2014 by one older hispanic gentleman and two younger gentleman, one black and one hispanic. The hispanic movers were very professional and hardworking. My roommate and I are convinced that they basically did the entire move themselves. Perhaps because my roommate and I are black, the black gentleman assumed that it was appropriate to flirt with us, ask us inappropriate questions such as how much our rent was, etc. He moved only light furniture and even accepted what was obviously a non-business call while he should have been working. He was so bad, my roommate and I honestly debated over whether it would be appropriate to give the two other gentlemen a larger tip than his. Hopefully, he is no longer staffed.

I've used these guys twice. Both times, they've moved me from a 3rd floor to a 3rd floor, one location with an elevator and one without. Both times, they arrived on time, took great care of my belongings, worked efficiently (much appreciated since they charge by the hour), and were incredibly cheerful throughout the process. They didn't seem to mind having to move my stuff up all those flights of stairs! My HOA also gave me some problems when the movers' truck was trying to get out of my old apartment complex (I didn't inform the HOA that I had movers that day so to get their petty revenge they dragged their feet in opening the side gate). That added about 20 minutes to the move, and they didn't charge me for that wasted time. Don't be off-put if you don't speak Spanish--in my experience the leader of the crew is always fluent in English, even if some of the other movers might not be. Highly recommend, and even though I hope I don't move again soon--I'll be using these guys next time! Note: I was fully packed, and they moved me from a 3rd floor 1-bedroom to a 3rd floor  1-bedroom in just over 3 hours. Would have been less if the HOA was cooperating.
