Jonah's Movers is a middle to high-end moving company that moves customers primarily in the north area of Houston such as: The Woodlands, Spring, Conroe, Magnolia, and Tomball. We pride ourselves in offering excellent, quality controlled, moving services.Through shrink wrapping and blanketing your furniture, we ensure that you will not be paying for damages. Jonah's Movers protects your floors, doors, and door frames with rubber or blankets before every move.In the case that one of your items is damaged, do not worry! We are one of the few companies who offers full reimbursement at no extra cost!Since we are excellent and fast packers, we offer FREE boxes, tape, and packing paper when we pack and move, that way, you can sit back while we do the work.Lastly, the company is owned and operated by myself, Jonah. I am an online college student, so you can expect me to be managing and working during every step of your move.We have removed the risks for you, that way, your move is a lot less stressful!

History

Established in 2014. Patrick and I (Jonah) are the original founders of this company and we are proud to say that it is actually owned and operated by a college student!Before the company, Patrick and I met after high school while volunteering for a 2 year missionary program for our church. We did not know that our volunteer work together would lead us into a business venture as well! Jonah's Movers was founded by two 21-year-old guys, and as you can imagine, we thought we had bitten off more than we could chew. I was just in my 2nd year into college when I obtained a truck loan for our 24 foot box truck. Our start-up money consisted of a whopping $2000 cash, obtained from selling my 1988 Ford F-150. We had no idea at the time that we would receive so much encouragement and positive feedback from our local community! Through the referrals from those whom we moved, we hope to continue bringing successful and stress-free moves to our future clients.

Seriously the best moving experience ever! These guys worked hard, showed up ON TIME, were extremely professional and courteous, and their estimate was spot on. Couldn't be happier! Matthias did an amazing job directing the crew. Communication was perfect. They really made the whole moving process suck a lot less. Highly, highly recommended!!

Our new house wasn't ready when we had to move out of our old house.  Jonah's movers packed up the entire 5300 sq ft house and moved everything into storage units.  They weren't able to fit everything into the 1 unit we had rented and the storage place was closed so they allowed everything to sit on the truck until we were able to get another unit.  When we were ready to move again, I mailed them the keys so I didn't have to meet them so early at the storage place, then they moved everything into the house.  Even moved some furniture around for me as I was trying to find the best place for it (including a SUPER heavy massage chair that I had them move twice!).  Arturo, Alfredo, Jose, Chris and Jaime were all very professional and hard working.  I despise moving and hope to never do it again, but if I do, we'll call on Jonah's for sure!

The other great reviews are not exaggerations.  Everything from the quote to the actual move went flawlessly.  Diana in the front office responded to my inquiry within a few hours and provided a very competitive quote and lots of helpful information. Jose and Alfredo showed up exactly on time on the day of the move.  They moved about 1200 cu feet of household items in under 3 hours...amazing.  It was raining off and on when they were loading so they wrapped all of the furniture with extra shrink wrap to ensure everything stayed dry.  They did not scratch or damage a single item including the walls/floors of the home I was moving from.  I highly recommend Jonah's movers (ask for Jose and Alfredo for your moving team...you won't be disappointed!).
