The day began by them calling me two hours ahead of the scheduled time to ask if we could start early. Well, I was at work so that wasn't going to happen. When the moving began (on scheduled time) it was two guys who showed up. They moved about 5 moderately heavy items in 1 hour. One guy, Bubba, was nice and pleasant, but the other one was not. The rude one made comments like "if another person was here he would have already taken several smoke breaks by now" and "there's a slower speed we can work at" "your t.v. would look good on my wall." Completely uncalled for. I would never recommend this company to anyone. The positive reviews must be from family memebers.

Its hard to move so you should make your move easier with Dwight's.  They do everything, they pack your stuff, move it and unload it.  I have used Dwight's Moving three times and they were great.  The guys were always on time and polite.  They were careful and respectful with my things. I felt the pricing was fair.  I highly recommed Dwight's.

My dad found Dwight's through the storage place I had to store my stuff (Fry Road Self Storage, which is an excellent storage facility, I recommend them too).  I am so glad I went with Dwight's, rather than some other advertised company in the area.  I did some price shopping for the Katy area, and although Dwight's is not based in Katy, they blew the competitors out of the water for service, value and reputation (I have used other moving companies in the past, so feel confident I know what to look for in choosing this type of service).  They also told me they move all over the state, and I believe out of state as well.  The truck and trailer used was relatively new, well taken care of, and top notch and just the right size after telling them what kind of pieces I had.  I used them for my move out, and was so pleased with the job, I used them for my move in, a week later, as my new apartment was not ready yet.  The 2 guys I got, Jimmy and Bobby, were friendly, prompt, and just all around great!  They were so good, I requested them to move me again (sorry guys...), and Dwight's said they would do their best to accommodate me, and they came through.  They moved me when we were having all that rain for 2 weeks straight, and the conditions were not great for the moves, but they always had a smile on their face, were fast but careful (really worked their tails off) and VERY knowledgeable about my furniture pieces, as some were hand me down antiques (big heavy bulky stuff).  They probably knew more about my stuff than I did.  I had no scratches, dings, dents, gouges, nothing broken.  They looked carefully at how my boxes were marked (like not setting a box on top due to being fragile etc), and stacked/stored everything really well to maximize the storage space I had.  Dwight's even offers a discount in price if you move during the week, rather than a weekend.  They will call you the day before to confirm appointment, then show up the next day.  I told Dwight (I think it was Dwight) I would yelp him when I got Internet service hooked up, and am proud to be the first reviewer for this stellar company.  My parents have also stated they will be using this company in the future when they are ready to move, they were just as pleased as I was.  If you have a big or small move, this is the go-to company; you will be extremely pleased with the service and value, and will want to tell your friends and family about them, they are THAT good.  This company has been in business for a long time, and Jimmy and Bobby have been doing this for 15 yrs or so, so you know you will be getting a professional to move your belongings.  I am sure all the movers they employ are all great, but if you have the chance, request Jimmy and Bobby, you won't regret it (again, sorry guys)!  Lastly, they have NO HIDDEN FEES, they are up front about costs etc, and you get a clear invoice for services rendered at the end of the move.  I am sure you have read the horror stories in the news about those shady companies that hold your furniture hostage if you don't pay for the tacked on "fees" after the move is completed.  Reviewed and used by a very satisfied, and now loyal, customer.
