Best moving company in town. They have the best prices, the friendliest staff, and the most efficient movers. They moved my 2 story house all the way across Houston: antique furniture up and down stairs, half a dozen book shelves all across the house, and a dozen odds and ends all over. They were efficient, helpful, and fun guys. I will never use a different moving company.

My Mom lived with me until my house flooded in April.  She then moved to NE TX with my brother.  Due to her health issues she needed to come back ASAP.  I was able to rent her an apartment in a senior living facility.  I had used Dobber and his crew with Dwight's Moving three times before (two for me and one moving my parents from NE TX in with me).   So, I knew I wanted Dobber and his crew again.  They just finished moving her.  He and his crew are AWESOME!   My brother and sil brought Mom down from NE TX with the back of their pickup truck loaded ..... some to stay at the apartment and some to come to the house.  In addition to the "regularly scheduled move", Dobber and his crew unloaded the things that went into the apartment ..... then put the rest in their trailer and brought it back to the house.  He WORKS!   You just need to be ready to move out of the way as he is constantly moving. I also recently broke my arm/shoulder so can't lift anything that takes two hands.  I have tons of boxes in the four car garage since I had to move out of the house so quickly after the flood.  Dobber patiently moved boxes around until we found the right ones to move.  I would recommend Dwight's Moving, especially with Dobber, any day!

I have used Dwight's now for two moves and have been satisfied both times.  The guys work hard and are friendly.  The crew I had worked efficiently and I will be using them again.  Although I don't plan on moving anytime soon!

I had been recommended to Dwight's Moving by a close friend who had used them a few times and knew others that were satisfied with their moving experience so  I had high hopes. Requested a quote, they got back to me quickly, it was a great price however I asked for the guy I spoke with to send me the information in an email. I never received that email. Called back about 2 weeks later asking if they still had my quote. They were very friendly and said they did. I told her I would like to move forward in my booking however someone walked in and she had to get off of the phone with me but promised me she would call me back in half an hour. 2 hours later- no phone call. I called her and she gave me a sob story of how she was the only one working and they were dealing with a big move. I felt bad so I said ok, please put my name name down for my move date and call me to discuss details the next day. 2 and a half days later- no reply... I called to say I no longer wanted to do business with them, left a voice mail and what do you know- not half an hour later, they returned my call... Sorry, too little too late. They would probably be a fantastic company to work with but if you can't trust them to call you back, how do you trust them to move your home?

Normally, people do not want to use movers because: 1. They will steal your stuff2. They will break your stuffDwight Moving Company dented our coffee table and failed to compensate us or even communicate with us. What we were moving:My boyfriend and I was moving in together to a 1 BR apartment. We are super busy. So we decided to hire a mover. We had only a few items, 1 Queen sized bed, desk, few monitor/TV, a few boxes of necessities and a few other small furniture.Rates: $$I did a little research and Dwight rates were competitive according to the others that I called. I found others with better reviews and a little cheaper but I decided to go with Dwight because a "friend" recommended Dwight. Turns out the "friend" that used them had some trouble before. Time: They were on time. But it took them 2.5 hour to move. We were moving 15 min away and basically we were moving one bedroom.   Furthermore they only had to take apart the bed. Service: Two guys came and were nice. They were pleasant to work with. Trouble:The move was fine, but the guys dented our coffee table during the move(There were a few dents and one major dent, that we are currently covering with a tissue box). The movers said sorry. We were nice and calm and the mover guys told us what to do.  According to their policy and insurance they would pay for damages if any were to occur during the move.  He wrote down the damages on the receipt (one for him and one for us). He told us that he will inform the owner and the boss will give us a call. We waited for a few days. No Phone Call. So we called and told that we would have to wait for the boss and that they will inform the boss. We sent an email. No reply from the boss. We have moved in for over  2 weeks already. Their BOSS hasn't given us a single call or email. I think the owner should have at least five min to send their customer an update on the damage claim. I guess, they are not interested in our business or care about their customers. I would definitely not recommend them in the future.
