Used them a couple weeks ago and couldn't have made a better choice. Very professional and nothing was damaged. Will definitely use them again!

Clear Lake Movers is hands down the best movers I've ever used. I've moved many times and this crew was friendly, professional, and efficient. They took excellent care of my items and nothing was damaged or scratched. I used another moving company before in the same area and that crew were barely legal age and dressed like they just rolled out of bed after a long night of club hopping. Clear Lake Movers have grown men that were dressed in company shirts.  The prices are competitive and the clock doesn't start until they actually pick up the first item. Their competitors start the clock as soon as they reach your location before they've even said hello. The owner is kind and personable. I definitely recommend them.

So I move... a lot.... a whole lot... Clear lake movers have moved me personally all over the Houston area at different times over the last 10 years 5 times. They have always been prompt, courteous, careful, professional, and time efficient. I love that it is a family business as well. On 3 of my moves I received a personal phone call from the owner to make sure everything went smoothly and there was not anything else he could help me with. I have referred them to many friends and family. Over the course of a decade rates will understandably go up. They raised their hourly rate by $20 before my last move. The secretary noticed this and noticed I was a repeat customer and gave me the old rate without me even asking! That is amazing customer service and attention to detail. We joked that I was turning in my punch card for a discount. My cousin used them to move a 5 bedroom house. She had a 3 man crew booked for a whole day. At 11pm the night before she was supposed to move a pipe busted in her new home and flooded the downstairs. She was able to get in touch with the company who through her hysterical tears told her they would keep the guys on hold until she decided what she wanted to do. No charge. With no notice at all she had them delay the move a week then move half her things into her garage and the other half to the second floor of her new home. They accommodated her every need and never attempted to profit from the situation or even collect a deposit. The only times they have not moved me is when I was too far out of their area to make it worth it. But they have made it really hard to trust other movers.

The first experience wasn't bad but the next one was unforgettable.  CLM tried to sneak in a $75 surcharge for moving each appliance!  I protested and they backed off.  They worked hard and moved several storage units worth of my stuff.  Once they finished, I tipped them generously only to find out later that many of my possessions were damaged or missing.  It took several months to get unpacked and to take stock.  Many missing firearm accessories, all my booze and damage to furniture and pictures that they cleverly hid.  The lead was very anxious for me to sign off on the paper disclosing no damage.  It was very disconcerting to know that I lost almost $1500 worth of my stuff.
