Ameritex Movers is a Houston moving company established in 2001 by an ambitious couple driven to build a solid reputation in the moving industry. It all started with Beth and Nima Rohani's living room of their 2-bedroom apartment in the heart of Houston. They had just moved from Dallas to Houston to go to college and needed a way to earn extra money for books and tuition. Now, Ameritex Houston Movers has performed more than 100,000 moves and has a damage claim rate of less than 1%. It's easy to see that we know moving, and we love what we do!

George and his crew were professional, fast and extremely detail oriented. All of my belongings arrived intact and were placed in the correct rooms. The truck was clean and in good condition.Ameritex movers were prompt in their communications and accurate with their quotes. I received email updates and phone calls leading up to the day of the move. George and his crew showed up on time and were done within the quoted timeframe.I will not move again without calling Ameritex.

These movers were referred to us by the apartment complex we were moving to. The movers were very nice and very professional. They were able to move my very heavy sleeper couch from a second floor apartment with narrow stairs which was wonderful. They were quick and cheap which I appreciate. Most of my furniture came out at little worse for the wear. Several of my tables and bookcases were scratched. My mattress came out of the truck very dirty along one edge and with a gash on the bottom. My lamp switch was smushed and broken. All of these were very minor and didn't seem worth filing for damages but it was still mildly upsetting. They also did not cover the mattress and let it drag along the dirty ground on the way to the truck. If you are primarily looking for a cheap, efficient move, these guys are great, but if you have furniture that you are very attached to, I would probably look elsewhere.
