Moving is zero fun, but these guys make it less painful. I moved with them a couple week ago and on the day of service I received a call within my morning window and was informed that they were down a crew and would be running behind. Plans change and life happens so I appreciated the courtesy call and wasn't upset about this at all. We had the pleasure of working with Emmanuel and Josh and boy do these guys know how to hustle! When they showed up we reviewed the paperwork and then they got right to work. The company has a couple of different insurance options and Emmanuel went over each one thoroughly. They charge by the hour and we've all experienced people who waste your time, but that could not be farther from what I experienced with Emmanuel and Josh. They were literally running back and forth when they didn't have super heavy things. They didn't stop for water or a bathroom break or anything despite my offering. They took excellent care of our belongings and wrapped things in plastic wrap when necessary. When we got to our new place Emmanuel whipped that big ol' trailer into our parking garage backwards like no one's business and again our stuff was handled at a rapid pace. I could not have asked for anything more in a moving company or employees. THANK YOU EMMANUEL AND JOSH! PS: Pro Tip! I didn't ask, but I'm positive these guys don't get the majority of that hourly fee you pay. TIP THEM!!! We gave what we thought was a fair tip considering the amount of stuff, time, and hustle, but Emmanuel looked genuinely shocked when he counted it and thanked us profusely while telling us this isn't standard. These guys busted their butts in the Texas heat and all of our belongings made it safely so tip accordingly!And wow literally 15 minutes after my review was written I got a response from Marcus with MHM that you can see below. We will definitely be using y'all again next time and requesting Emmanuel!! I would also like to commend you for your very real response to the witch who posted previously about being mad about an elevator being in use and not letting it go for two years. You dodged a bullet by avoiding someone like that and personally I thought you calling her out was hilarious. Y'all rock!

These guys rocked our move. Loved the crew. They worked non stop for 4 hours and everything was completed.

Hey, Marcus, I hope you respond to my review!! :)I was just moved last Friday and I LOVED the work they did.  I ordered 2 men and a truck and luckily for me a third man came. Manuel, Caleb and I can't remember the third person's name. I'm sorry! They were a little late for the arrival time but I received a call from the office to let me know and it was only about 30 minutes difference from when they thought and this was the day it started snowing and so I was just happy they weren't canceling.       Anyways, they all came in and I walked them through the house. Now mind you, this was a 4 bedroom with two king bedroom suites, 1 queen suite, and an office including two living rooms each with their own couches and accessories.  I was quoted at about 6 to 7 hours for the move but when all was said and done it was about 4.5 hrs they got it done in.  Not once did I see any of them lolly-gagging around or even taking a break.  they were very polite and let me know their policy regarding TVs etc.  I see someone posted a review about them dropping their plasma TV and how they didn't get reimbursed for it and totally blaming the company.  HELLO....SHIT happens and that's why you sign the extra insurance box BEFORE they start.  If you seriously have something that valuable and that expensive, why wouldn'y you get the extra insurance for just a few bucks?? They are human and accidents do happen. I feel like that went above and beyond to help me.  I didn't have the original box to put my flat screen in and thanks to the jerks that probABLY ruined it for the rest of us they weren't going to be able to move it. UNTIL Manuel said they could load it into my personal truck for me and I could drive it myself, knowing they weren't responsible for it. That was fine.  They also let me know at the end that the truck was full but they put all the heavy and awkward stuff in their truck and left little stuff at the house.  They could have made two trips and charged me another $100 an hr for some lamps and crap I could move, but instead let me know and gave me the option to decide which I appreciated. On top of that, they helped me load stuff into my truck knowing that was work they wouldn't be paid for and didn't have to do.     So I would say this is a GREAT company to use.  One of the movers commented about normally working for another company and how they would have taken the whole day to move my house by first taking an inventory of the entire house, writing it all down, and then moving, essentially costing me hundreds of dollars more. I was very pleased that Manuel discussed with me the fact that they would need to do a second trip if I really wanted them to move the little things that didn't fit. They were masters of Tetris because they somehow got all my crap from a 4 BR home into that truck and didn't mess up anything.     So to anyone wondering if they should use this company, the answer is YES! But if you have some valuable things that you expect to be moved, pay the few extra bucks and get the better insurance. Don't be cheap and then pissed that something got broken.  Last time I checked, the movers were human and this is a really hard job!

I have used Midnight Hour Movers multiple times over the past 13 years and have ALWAYS had excellent service!!!
