We found out last minute our house was closing and we had 3 days to get out. We called Luke's and they were able to get us scheduled on the day and time we needed. Fantastic customer service on the phone. Matt showed up early, had all the dolly's, blankets and everything else needed for our move. They busted their a**es moving all our stuff. They never stopped. They dropped off at 2 locations and took less time than originally quoted. Nothing was broke and they managed to put everything into our storage unit, neatly packed to the ceiling! I can not say enough great things about them, they were absolutely awesome. Will definitely call them to unload our storage when we buy our house.

Contact me privately through Yelp for a copy of the message that I sent them for my claim, which is in progress. It is a long list of complaints about the carelessness and rudeness of some of the moving crew.If they resolve it in an acceptable manner, I will update to 3-5 stars, based on the end result. ----------------Update 7/10/17: & more added on 7/19/17 after no return call by their office when I left a message with a staff member the afternoon of 7/10 to give them a chance to deal with these things first, before needing to add them to the review. I had hoped to get a good response for at least telling me when they would repair the furniture.The problems are in the process of being corrected. I'm adding one more star (just bumped it back down to one star after not getting a return call for 9 days and discovering problems left by the second crew), and will change it to 3-5 stars after it all has been completed, depending upon how thoroughly and kindly the major remaining flaws are remedied. (Nearly every move has a little minor damage, so we expected that--just not the level of carelessness and disrespect that caused some problems with this move.)Alyssa in their main office has been very, very nice about arranging to correct the problems caused by the original moving crew. She was upset that a few of their workers had handled things badly. That's a sign of good management. She was not at all defensive, and did not try to pass it off with excuses. The staff member who had booked the move and had behaved inappropriately had already been let go.A couple of workers just left from re-doing a large portion of the move to put furniture and heavy boxes into their proper rooms, and stacking a large amount of boxes that we're storing, which the first crew had left very haphazardly. Now it's good. (Good--not great.)This crew was careful and mostly respectful. (The original crew was a mixture of good and bad--don't get me wrong, they weren't a total nightmare, but not nearly up to Luke's standards, apparently.) WITH THE EXCEPTION of REFUSING to even look at the list of instructions I had typed out, and repeatedly asked them to READ when they asked questions that were clearly covered. They DIDN'T EVEN PRETEND TO LOOK AT THEM--even ONCE! One is a collge student, so it's not a literacy issue.Afterwards, I found some very lazy things they did which were problematic, such as leaving 12" of space between the wall and file cabinets that they were asked to put against the wall (with boxes stacked on top, which was what we wanted, but this makes it difficult to simply push them against the wall ourselves), and blocking a doorway instead of carrying things further into that room. A large chunk of wood that had been broken off of an armoire was found inside of it, which means that a worker knew that they had broken it off but didn't mention it to me.We still need for some furniture to be repaired, and a couple of things to be replaced. I'll update my review after that has been completed.--------------------------

The two movers arrived on time wreaking of cigarette smoke, without any tools (they were aware they would have to be breaking down/building furniture), and only one dolly cart. Not only did the lack of tools and carts slow them down tremendously on my dime, they also broke my television. The two men told me the company would replace it at no cost to me the following work day. I tipped the men generously as I know they worked hard and they promised me a repaired TV.A few days later and no call from the company as promised, I called Luke's Moving only to be told it would not be replaced. Luke's Moving gave me more money then the were "legally obligated" to, but it was less than what I tipped the men.I absolutely would not recommend Luke's Moving to anyone and will not be using them on any future moves.Update: I was contacted by Luke's Moving who told me: 1. those men did not say those things (although they did in front of two other people) 2. I ruined two families, and 3. I should not have trusted the movers because they are paid $15-25 an hour, and why would I trust that? - This response was extremely unprofessional, and I stick by my statement that I do NOT recommend this company.

My fiancee and I moved a little over a week ago, and we had Luke's Moving Services help us move our stuff over to our new apartment. I have nothing but great things to say about the kind of service we received from them. Austin and Homer were the ones that moved our stuff over and they did a phenomenal job! They took all the necessary precautions to make sure that nothing got damaged or scratched, which we greatly appreciated. All in all, it took them about 5 hours from beginning to end what would've probably taken us over a day to move, had we done it on our own. Great professionalism, and great customer service. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for a moving service.

Called to get a quote. Spoke with Melissa and even though I didn't use their service she was helpful giving me options that would work for my moving needs. She was absolutely amazing !!!! With the customer service I got over the phone I'll be raving about this company for a long time!!!! True dedication, not concerned with just taking your money and dismissing you if they realize you're not gonna use them. This for me was simply outstanding.
