Busy Bee TX Movers

We did a lot of searching for movers and were really worried about snake fees and the quality of work (guys intentionally taking longer than necessary). We also had some complexities involved (such as additional stops and appliance installation). It come down to two companies Busy Bee Movers and AB Movers. After speaking with Rick (at Busy Bee) and some reps at AB, I choose to go with Rick. He offered a competitive price and promised no snake fees.Rick and his team were fast, efficient and careful with all of our items. We didn't have to help with any of the items or really monitor for damages (I did do some spot checking and found no issues). They really went above and beyond on my move. Here are the reasons I gave Busy Bee 5 stars.1) No Snake fees. We were quoted a price and actually paid less then what was quoted.2) Above the state requirement on insurance coverage. The state requires $0.60 and Rick indicated he would go above and beyond if there were any damages.3) No additional stop fees. We needed to pick up a couch and fridge, which other movers were going to charge $100 additional stop fees4) Honesty and Integrity. Rick charged us less then what was quoted when I let him know his competitor was actually cheaper. He also stopped the clock earlier. They worked for approximately 4 hours and we were charged for 3 1/2 hours.I had an issue with Best Buy when they dropped off my gas dryer. The electricity wasn't on and my gas line was capped so they made a bunch of excuses and left it uninstalled. I had never installed a gas dryer and Rick actually offered to install the dryer for me at no additional charge. All of this occurred after they had stopped the clock on the move. I'm not a great handy man, but I asked Rick if he would just guide me as I install it so that I may learn. Best Buy gave an incorrect sized connector so with the help of Rick we determined the proper size and bought the connector form Home Depot. I installed the dryer in approximately 30 minutes (including the trips to Home Depot) all at no charge. Rick also helped with my garage door opener (which wasn't latching). He also gave me some great advise on managing fix up items in my home. Talk about going above and beyond!!Rick was an absolute joy to talk to. He had some great stories and just life lessons during the move. I highly recommend Busy Bee Movers. The best price, the best service, honesty and integrity.

After getting quotes from three bigger "players" in the area, I decided to go with Busy Bee (based on their price AND high ratings from other customers). I was moving my things out of storage into a 1BR apartment (about 50 miles apart).Due to one of his workers falling ill that morning, Rick showed up with only one helper, Luciano. I have never seen two people work as hard--and as fast--as these guys. AND... I was moving to a 2nd Floor apartment on a 100 degree day (needless to say, I had picked up some bottles of water for them beforehand).I would HIGHLY recommend Busy Bee for your next move. They're professional, punctual, and very reasonably priced.

These guys are great. I have done 2 main moves with them. Brian is really nice.On my 2nd move, they moved our (1040 sqf) 1 bdr apt from Plano to Houston. They are really dependable and on-time. Thumbs up for these guys. No hidden fees, Really fast and at the same time careful about your boxes.I will definitely ask him to help me in future if I want to move to California as well ;-)

beware of this mover..... rick will rip you off and not finish your move. he tells you a price and then leaves your things and you have to hire someone else!

These guys are great. Showed up on time and completed the job within estimated time. They also moved everything to a 3rd floor apartment without a scratch on our things or the apartment.
