Do not use Allways Moving and Storage!  These people are absolute crooks and will make your move a hellish experience.  We employed them to move an upright piano, dresser, and end table from Oklahoma to Southern California near the beginning of August and I have yet to receive our items.  Initially, they seemed to have a professional demeanor, issuing a reasonable estimate and contract that we signed, but this is where all professionalism ended.  They promised a delivery date in about 2 weeks from the time of pickup, and that it would be no more than 30 days at the most (I'm still waiting).  They also "lost" the credit card payment and initial contract, requiring a wire transfer instead, with  a new contract that was much higher than the first - huge red flags.  Never pay by wire transfer, as then you have no recourse if they end up to be crooks. Their communication is horrible, as you can never get a live person on the line and they hardly ever return calls.  When you do talk to a person, they are rude and treat you like dirt (customer abuse).  No one could tell us where our things were, and when we finally got a delivery date (for which they never showed up), they tried to extort more money out of us.  Even though they knew from the contract that the move involved a piano and that it would have to go up a flight of stairs, they kept trying to get more money out of us, saying "it's going to cost you more," despite the fact that it was specified in the price of the signed contract.  When they didn't show up, they lied about being there waiting for us, making us look like the ones at fault.  They even had the gall to try to charge us a re-delivery and storage fee!  The second delivery that was scheduled was the same story - nobody showed up.  There was not even a call to say that they couldn't make it.  A third delivery date was eventually scheduled  after we left numerous messages.  Finally, after they had kept our stuff for 2 and 1/2 months we thought we were set to go - and then the shenanigans started over again.  If we wanted to see our things again, we would have to pay a higher price and pay with cash or a postal money order, even though we had already agreed on and made out a cashier's check for the contracted amount (that we had confirmed with them three times before).  After all this, they still never showed up with our things.  This moving company employs extortion to get more and more money out of customers with horrible customer service that borders on abuse.  One cannot do business with people like this, as they lie and always change the rules on you.  I never received my items, so in essence what they are perpetrating is theft.  If you are moving and ever want to see your things again, NEVER use Allways Moving!
