I'D GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD! This company has complete disregard for their customers. If they don't break something, is because you are lucky. We spend OVER $1000 for a less than 1600sf home from Dallas to McKinney and had our baby's furniture damaged, which we spent a lot of money with. It started when they arrived, 3 skinny teenage boys, which is fine as long as they did their job, which they didn't. My wife was at the house while I was at work, but because we had no AC and a 9month baby she had to leave. My neighbor, later on, told me one of the movers LEFT the house for a while, while the 2 others were wasting time. He has cameras in front of his house and he has shown me so I can prove it.When we arrived in McKinney they were so behind they had to ask for assistance when 2 other teenagers showed up. At the old house, I saw one of the boys dropping the tv on the floor slightly, but I didn't say anything because I thought they would deal with the damages. As they arrived they dropped my 60" tv and broke the base. They probably felt bad about it and mounted the TV for us, since we can't use the tv unmounted anymore. We were fine with that.We took pictures of all the damages and they promised "they would take care of it" (their word).Monday, first thing in the morning we tried to reach out to a man, which they said was their boss and they asked us to tell him about the damages. First it went to mailbox, then later the phone was disconnected. We called the main sales line (which you will discover is the only one they answer) and we finally got ahold of a customer service person. She told us we needed to file a claim and send it back. We did and she auto-replied saying she would get back to us in 2 days. 5 days later she hasnt and I struggle to find her (if you dial 3 on their phone you will see). I left many voice messages and she never replied. Friday afternoon one of their sales person finally transferred me to her phone line, after mentioning all the facts the call suddenly dropped and she never called me back. I tried to call her back right away and she wouldn't answer. This morning (monday) I called at least 5 times before I had to get really mad and having somebody transferring to her. She said again she would have to schedule somebody to go fix the baby's furniture and that she would be able to pay $0.60 a pound for the TV they broke. Yes ladies and gentlemen, they want to pay for my 60" tv by the pound. So trust me, if you have anything you like in your house, DONT TRUST AB MOVERS TO TOUCH IT. They will destroy it and blame it on you, like they blamed on me for having the TV mounted by THEIR employees.Stay away from this company. They are OVERPRICED, NOT EFFICIENT and they DON'T RESPECT THEIR CUSTOMERS.

I used AB Moving to move my one bedroom apartment from Euless to Lewisville. They arrived on time, did a proper walk through, and carefully moved everything out of my old apartment. They were prompt to get to the new place and placed everything where I asked in the new apartment. My problem is not with those who actually moved me. The problem: while moving things into the new apartment, one of the guys chipped my wall. He took pictures of the chip and put it into the system (I watched him do this). He told me it could take up to 60 days for someone to get back to me and tell me what would happen next (but he said it usually takes a lot less). So here I am at 60 days and I have not heard a peep from the company concerning this issue. It is a shame that such a small chip in the wall/being ignored has resulted in bringing an otherwise 5stare experience to such a low.

I used AB Moving to move 1,600 square foot house from Arlington to Carrollton last weekend. Overall they did an alright job.  The Good: They arrived during the scheduled time window.  They walked through the house and listened to what I wanted moved, what stayed and what priority order it was to go into the truck.  I knew it would be close to get all my belongings in the truck so I told them what I wanted as a priority.  They where able to fit almost everything on the truck and left one small load of items that I could easily move myself.  I have a lot of glass furniture and they wrapped all the furniture very well so none of it was broken or scratched.  They also put down protection on the floors so they didn't scratch the hardwood, which I appreciated. The Bad: While they didn't scratch any of the furniture they did bang up the walls in a few places.  Nothing a little putty and paint can't fix, but a slight annoyance.  They also manged to slightly damage my refrigerator and my Elliptical.  I think they put a strap around the refrigerator and cranked it down too tightly because now the door is slightly bent and doesn't hold a seal.  The $3,500 high end Elliptical was dropped during the move. They were able to put it back together and it works, it just doesn't operate as smoothly as it did before.  The final con was that it took a little over 9 hours to complete the move.  When I had moved previously I had a 3 man crew and it only took them 4-5 hours.  So I was a little shocked that it took them so long so I ended up spending a lot more on the move than I had planned.Based on the other negative reviews, I am not even going to bother trying to file a claim with AB Moving.  I should be able to replace the door on my refrigerator for a couple hundred dollars and I will just live with the Elliptical.  But in hindsight I should have taken out movers insurance or get a flat rate quote.

"Ruben" and his crew were careless. We just bought our first new home, and they chipped wood trim and gouged the wall. They also broke my desk drawer. And this is only the damage I have discovered so far - something tells me that unfortunately I will find much more. DEFINITELY hire someone else

3 months later and I'm still fighting AB to fix The hole or compensate me to do it myself. The comment below from Kenny is laughable, as he was the one who initially stated that IF I removed my review, he would make things right. What company practices such poor ethics? I encourage anyone that has had issues with AB to file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau! To be continued....
