This is the worst uhaul place ever! Every time I come here there is a long wait, rude staff, and some problem of some sort... the guys outside at the dropoff are the exception. Helpful and nice!!!

Uhaul in park slope sells boxes and posts the following misleading price of $0.84 each for a small box. Tried to buy 12 of these boxes and they turn out to be $1.10 each at the register. The $.84 cent price only refers to the bundle price. This is intentionally deceptive marketing as the individual price is nowhere to be found and the only sign posted says $.84 cents each in big bold letters. The sales team kept the real prices hidden behind the counter on a separate sheet. False advertising. Typically you'd write the full individual price and then you have an addendum below stating the adjusted price and/or savings should you buy more. The $.84 cent price supposedly only refers to the "bundle price". I Don't think this is accidental. This is a clever ploy to nickel and dime customers who may not do the math. The difference is not a lot of money but to me I think Uhaul makes thousands of dollars using this bait and switch technique. I brought this to the attention of the sales lady and she pretty much dismissed me. Be cautious when purchasing anything from uhaul. This could be their modus operandi with all their pricing. Please note: I did not check all the prices for other boxes.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE call center and local stores have no real comunication system! they rely on antiquated systems that are unreliable and inacurate!Management is completely apathetic....thats what happens when you're the only game in town!I needed a hitch installed and foolishly tried to save a few dollars over going to Hitch King....lesson learned...the time wasted was well over the cost of the money saved!

Very disorganized, stressful and timely move-in process. uHaul confirmed my drop-off location in Williamsburg and that facility did not have storage (even though I articulated the need for storage at time of booking). It wasn't until I got to be Williamsburg location that they gave me the traffic center phone number and I had the drop-off location changed to Park Slope. Once there - I experienced a long wait and an extremely long check-in process due to uHaul's system, which seems to be awful at every uHaul I go to. Every uHaul employee I interact with seems to have issues with the system. Furthermore, uHaul asks for so my information from the customer, it's ridiculous (and adds even more time to process). Once I was assigned a storage room, it was hard to find it using the maps even though I had an employee helping me. The access card I was given did not work (again, seemingly due to the system or a computer being turned off or something along those lines) so I had to wait in the line once again, then wait for them to fix the card access. Overall, it was just a very timely, bad experience. My 14 hours of packing, driving, and unpacking the day before was more smooth and less stressful than the 2+ hours I spent at this uHaul moving into storage and returning the truck.

The most inefficient Uhaul ever. Took us 40 min standing in line in the parking lot before the guy brought our van.
