Movers arrived to pick up furniture and after a very detailed list they advised that there was going to be an additional upcharge of $1000. The truck they came with was practically fully to capacity. However, the movers packed the truck up with most of our things and then the 3 movers forced the doors to shut closed. Meaning the furniture was a tight fit yet they forced the doors to close on the furniture, which I’m sure caused damage to our furniture. They went and got another truck to finish our move.
Friday, November 6th I received a call from the movers advising they would be coming to deliver our furniture on Saturday. The driver asked if he could get his truck into our area and after looking at google maps he decided he would come Saturday. Saturday evening he texted me to ask if he could get his truck in once again. I said yes because I thought they were coming with the same type of truck they originally came with. Saturday came and the drivers arrived and advised they could not get into our driveway that they would have to come back and deliver the furniture another day. We advised them that other moving trucks came into the complex all the time but he still said he could not deliver and again another charge of $600! The mover became angry and started yelling at my husband and me that we wasted his time. Truly unprofessional!
Sunday, November 7th, the movers texted to advise they were coming at 5:30 PM. They showed and again refused to deliver our furniture because they want cash or a money order from postal office. I had a money order and he refused to take the money orders because they were not from the post office. I then told the driver that it was impossible to get a money order from the post office on a Sunday and that he knew that I could not get a money order from the post office in time. Mind you the first form of payment I had was a certified bank check, but they would not accept that form of payment either. Nevertheless, I had to argue in front of my neighbors to get my furniture out of the truck because the man was rude and raising his voice to us. Finally, I got in touch with a business partner Zeek Bonovici and he obligated the movers to make the delivery.
The delivery began into our home and as we started to inspect we noticed every single piece of furniture was damaged. I noted the damages and ask what happened and they would not reply, simply stating that I should file a claim. In addition, to this experience the movers came into our home in the middle of a pandemic without wearing masks. The movers were very rough with the furniture to the point where they were dropping boxes down the stairs. Very sloppy and rude all the way around! Then before they left I asked where the other night stand to my bedroom set was and the mover said “oh yes there is one more piece of furniture in the truck”. When he brought in the nightstand the legs were completely broken and scratched all around. I asked what happened to the nightstand and he refused to talk. I created a list of all the damages and gave it to the mover once I also signed off on the paperwork, yet he tried to leave without the list of damages.
Monday I called to speak with the Zeek to discuss the condition of our furniture but he was unavailable. I spoke with another manager and explained what happened and he advised Zeek would call me. Tuesday Zeek called to speak with me and he kept elaborating on how he knew I was a nice lady, then proceeded to ask me if I was Puerto Rican! Completely inappropriate and racist! What does that have to do with my move? He then proceeded to tell me that his team would be meeting to discuss my contract and look at the damages. He then asked that I do not file a claim that they would try to come to settlement. I am submitting this claim as I no longer trust this company and would like to be compensate appropriately for all the damages caused to my furniture.

Research! Research! Research! This company operates under several different names. Once they got all of our stuff on the truck (They were a day late also) we were hit with high pressure sales tactics and the price went up drastically. I told them to pull our stuff off the truck to which they refused and we had no choice (I was not present at pickup day) fast forward to delivery day. They didn't show up. Fast forward a MONTH later and still no word from them. They had put all my stuff in a NON climate controlled unit this entire time. at over 40 days past delivery day I called them and told them I would pay the balance if they would just give me the info to the storage unit because I was unable to wait any longer with no dates in sight for delivery. After I followed their instructions to give them payment and they received it, they then demanded a notarized HUSH form saying I wouldn't leave bad reviews or go to the media in exchange for my belongings. It was then that I went to the Police and they agreed they couldn't do that and they pressed 2 charges for Larceny. After I contacted several other agencies with the copy of the police report it was enough for them to hand over the location to the storage unit. I paid in full for a job they only half completed. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY SORT OF REFUND. I'd also like to note that several items were damaged and we had a guitar that was split all the way around from the extreme cold temps because it was put in a storage unit that was not climate controlled. This company is what nightmares are made of. I filed a complaint with the BBB and they wouldn't even respond to them. RUN.

Highly communicative! Century Moving were simply the best. Everything was wrapped, secured and Transported. Then carefully unwrapped and put everything where it was supposed to go. Excellent follow through. Guys were super efficient and it is the best quality deal you can get. Their attire looked very sophisticated, their way of talking really impressed me a lot. I will highly recommend them.

This moving company was exceptional. They were able to work on short notice and arrived exactly on time, finished in the amount of time quoted. They were very careful with the move and none of my furniture was damaged. I would definitely use Century Moving again.

I was dreading our move for a long time now, but it couldn't have gone smoother. We used the moving and packing service. Nothing was damaged, ceramic plates, cups, heavy dressers, wine glasses, and etc., made the move safely. The crew was great! They were very personable and great at their job. This was one of the easiest moves I've ever had. Our bill ended up being a lot less than the estimate, so that was a nice surprise.
I would highly recommend Century Moving to anyone.
