Hello, Although I requested a refund from A One prior to my trip (because i decided to rent a u-haul trailer) their service was unbelievable. Louis and Susan were very caring and helpful. They refunded my deposit with great customer service. if i had a bigger move, I would book with them again. Justin

I give them one star.... I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt after being contacted by another mover who warned me about this company. I contacted them with this info and my concerns also with extra items that would be added to my move. I was told and reassured that the extra items would not cost much more than my origins quote of $2,607 (to move from PA to MA). I knew they would add $200 for 1 extra stop not far away. Moving day comes.... I thought everything was going smooth. The foreman said I had a little more than what was quoted I told him yes I spoke with them throughout the week and told him I would have some extra items. He also said it shouldn't be a big difference. The moving truck gets packed.... all of my items wrapped up and on the truck.... and I'm presented with a bill of $4,907. I almost died.... here I am nervous about this already but was reassured many times that it wouldn't be much more than the quote and here is a bill of almost DOUBLE the quote. I did not have double the items! Some extra boxes that were counted as items were so small.... they also boxes items I didn't need boxed. I am a single mother and cannot believe I am stuck with this bill. So it doesn't end there.... I was told the truck would be planned to arrive the following day in MA (Friday)... worse comes to worse Saturday... but would do everything to aim for Friday. "They have to tell ppl Saturday only to cover themselves if something happens." I should have known.... sitting at the new place all day. No call, no info... checked in a million times.... no info still. Finally get a call around 7:30 pm that they won't be in until Saturday. So here I am with a huge bill already and then I have to go to a hotel for the night. I have 2 pieces of furniture that broke in the move and I've been trying to contact them to see what's going on with my claim and no response. I share my story because I'm still in shock these people could get away with this. My advice is to stay away from this company!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I gave them one star because ZERO wasn't an option. They ruined ALL of my belongings. When all of our stuff arrived at our final destination all of our boxes were damaged, ripped apart and looked like they had fallen off the truck! Most of my fragile kitchen items which were labeled FRAGILE were all broken. My sofa RUINED, in addition they had detached the legs of my sofa when they picked up my items and wrapped them separately and they are now no where to be found. My husband's brand new $400 bicycle has scratches, scuffs and is in terrible condition. HORRIBLE moving company, they are not careful with your things. Terrible customer service and terrible insurance. They only offered us .60 per pound for the damaged items which means I'm only getting back about $70 for my $2,000 sofa. I AM LIVID!!!! Ignore the other reviews, there's no way this company deserves 4 stars, ever. They're also not cheap, I paid $4,000 to have all of our stuff ruined.

It's companies like this that give the moving industry such a bad name. After many persuasive calls, I succumbed to their calls and switched my moving original moving company to hire A One Van Lines. That proved to be my biggest mistake yet. Not only did they damage the bicycle which I specifically had them wrap, they lost my sofa's legs, failed to build my bed, destroyed a box full of collectible shoes and shield themselves behind their $0.60 / lbs coverage. This company is a joke. I wouldn't recommend them, and suggest that you rent your own truck and haul your own stuff if possible. Buyer beware...

I hired A One Van Lines to facilitate an office move for the company I work for. We already received quotes from other moving companies but all the prices were extremely higher than A One Van Lines! Mark, the representative I spoke to over the phone was very thorough with explaining the process and paperwork. He was quick and precise with replying to my inquiries. Our building management is very strict when it comes to the COI but Joann was able to meet the all specified requirements. She was able to finalize the move before our specified moving day. Moving day came and the 4 movers arrived on time and got straight to work. They handled all my office material with care. Packaged, wrapped and stored everything in an orderly manner. I was very pleased with the ending result..my supervisor was extremely satisfied by the job done and the amount of time it was completed in. Thanks a lot guys, you're the best!
