This place truly deserve my 5 stars. I spoke to them on the phone few times and they were very helpful on helping me choose the right storage size. they were not looking to over-sale on the storage. I like honest business !When I finally decided to get a storage from them, they explain to me about all the paper work and they have free pickup service within 5 miles ( I believe) The pickup guy was super nice too, and I realized I didn't enough a big storage instead a smaller one, they were very happy to help me change the paper work and charge me less for the smaller ones. This is one of the best customer service I've received in a while. everyone is very nice here and they know your name by "heart". makes me feel like a family and safe to store my stuff there !They have very reasonable price too !!!

Highly unrecommended.  Highly inconvenient termination of lease.  1.  At initial lease signing, I told the team I did NOT want auto pay.  2.  Yet, for 2 months afterward, my debit card was auto deducted.  3.  On the initial form, I did NOT check auto renewal either.  At initial lease signing, I was asked if I wanted auto deduct.  I said no.4.  As well, at initial lease signing, I told them I only wanted the unit for 1 month, which I checked on the form with my credit card information.5.  Management only argued with me over the phone.I feel like they cloak their auto deduct practices inside of a complex legal paperwork and digital system, making it as difficult as possible for the customer to terminate lease.

BE CAREFUL: DIAMOND PROTECTIONOther reviewers have already mentioned the poor service so I won't waste your time about that.  I'll let you guys know about the little storage insurance scam that they have going.  So, if you happen to rent space here, do not get the diamond protection.  Here is my story.Several of their floors flooded and they apparently never mentioned this to any of their affected customers.  (Great service, right?)  By chance, I happened to come in 3 weeks later because I wanted to pick up a piece of clothing.  To my horror, all my stuff was ruined!  Mold everywhere.  The crazy thing is that it could have all been saved if they had notified their customers.  But they never did.  Just kept quiet.  It's crazy.  Did they think that the water would all dry up and nobody would notice?  (I'm sure that was what they were thinking.  If customers came a year later, they could claim that the stuff was originally damaged I guess.)Anyway, I was paying for their Diamond protection program so I thought my stuff should be covered, right?  Nope.  I had damages exceeding $40,000 but only paid for full coverage of $12k or something.But get this.  Instead of writing out a check for $12k, they offered me a check for only $5k!!!Why?  Now, here is the kicker.  They said that they would ONLY give me the check for $5k if I signed a waiver that I won't ask for the rest of the $7k.  They know the damages are much more than $5k but they will only settle if you sign that piece of paper that stated you will forfeit any future claims and waive them from all negligent liability.  Do you believe that?!?But if I didn't sign that waiver, I would get ZERO!!  Not even the $5k.  What kind of insurance is this?!!Apparently, they have no intention of ever insuring your belongings for the full $12k even though you have been paying for full coverage for years.  This is obviously illegal but it doesn't matter to this business.  Get this.  Since they are self-insuringI really hope that more people will call the state insurance commission to bring this business down.  It's really not right what they are doing.  If you can, please file a complaint about this company at:myportal.dfs.ny.gov/web/…My final advice is to just avoid this place.TLDR: Do not get the Diamond Protection Plan.  It's a scam.

I would not recommend this storage location.  When I first signed on with them several years ago, the price was right and the staff was courteous and helpful.  Things declined rapidly.  There were times that I arrived during their open hours where the building was closed without explanation, and without apology when I addressed it with the management there.  The building went from being well kept, clean, freshly painted, to poorly maintained, sometimes with elevators out.  Every single credit card that I used for automatic payments of my rent was compromised and had to be closed.  I can't even count the number of times I had to provide new credit card information to them for my rent payment because I had to keep closing credit cards.  I have no way to prove this, but I believe that they were not keeping my information secure.  It was a huge pain to change storage companies, but I am thrilled that I made the decision to do so.

Carmen is great. .she's very friendly and helpful..totally 180 degrees different from the teenager who worked there before. .I think that girl got fired..good news for customers. .she was terrible..but Carmen is awesome! Speak to her..she will set you up and be a friendly face when you're stressed out from moving..
