**As an update (8/3), after some back and forth, the company has agreed to refund us a portion of the amount we requested. It will likely cover the couch repair and lamp, but not the dresser. At this point, we are taking what we can get to just be done with all this.--I hope that by writing this review, I will save someone from the misery that I went through / am still going through. Our experience started out fine, until two hours into the move, when one of our movers got into a verbal argument with our door attendant, calling her a few choice words that almost cost us money (she was going to fine/report us, but we apologized many times and she's now just reporting the movers.) From there, it gets worse.While moving our couch into our new places, the movers proceeded to jam it into the door, resulting in two holes (that we've found so far) and a couch that absolutely must be cleaned now. We also found out later that one of the drawers to a huge pricy dresser we own was apparently dropped, because a piece is cracked clean off and a handle is missing. As we unpack, we continue to find our belongings ruined, like a light that is missing a whole piece.You hire movers because you want professionals to move your items and because you want your items to get there in one piece - what a concept! I could have paid my friends half of what we paid this company and they would have treated our belongings with 10x more respect.

"Although I have closed your complaint, a record of your complaint will remain on our consumer inquiry file for the next 3 years. Anyone wishing to seek information on the mover's past performance will be afforded information as to their complaint history"-Illinois Commerce Commission Police, Transportation Division.Run! This company is the absolute worst! Just got done with the Illinois commerce commission in settling this matter. In a nutshell, I had heirloom China destroyed. When I had James open the box of China, it was laying on its side, and he said it looked like it was packed that way!!! Sure. I packed 100 yo China on its side! In retrospect, I should have transported it myself, but didn't realize that this was such a shoddy business. Furniture  chipped, furniture not reassembled, a whole box of crystal missing, patio bench destroyed and my 4 year old bedroom set dressers and night stands completely scratched to the tune of over $600 or more in repair. There were many more things broken and scratched. Since this was an ongoing process for over 4 months, I don't have the room here to go into it. This company is going to come back on here (as I have seen before) denying and even going so far as to say that since this was a two part move, I had access to the storage facility and may have done this damage myself!!! Ignore it. I had to end up settling for $60 bc I signed a contract for 30c per lb for damages. The $60 was darned near what I paid in registered letters etc. trying to get these people to respond to my letters. If anyone is really interested in corroborating my story, I will be more than glad to provide pictures of damages, emails to All Seasons, and the correspondence between myself and the Illinois Commerce Commission. In addition, some of the movers spoke little or no English, and saw and corrected them for carrying in boxes, clearly marked fragile, upside down!!! They were arguing among them selves, and one had an attitude as long as his arm! Do yourself a favor and spend extra money to safeguard your property! Whatever you do, don't use these people

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I paid them for three hours to fuck up the only thing I told them I hired them for. The first thing I told Kristy and the movers on my scheduled move date was, I am only using a professional moving company because I want to make sure my bed is broken down and put back together correctly without damage. I asked Kristy if they could do that and she said directly, "Yes." My bedframe was cracked from screws being drilled in too tight!!!!! So what Kristy should have said was NO!!! My bed was $800 and they refunded me $45. It's a GREAT thing I have renters insurance otherwise I would be f***ed. Not only was the frame cracked but, one side of the frame was not even connected to the headboard and I could not sleep on it the first night in my new place. The movers also left two dollys which, I had to retrieve from the alley behind my building and hold it in my Studio apartment overnight.I called Kristy the next morning and she told me someone would come in the afternoon (no specific time) that day to connect it to the headboard and pick up the equipment. By 3:30pm no one had come to connect my headboard or pick up the equipment left behind in the alley behind my building nor had I received a call back from ANYONE at All Seasons Movers.I called and some dude answered and told me he would call me right back once I explained the situation to him. I waited almost half an hour for a call back before I called again and got no answer, it went to voicemail. I called from a different number and the same dude answered again and told me one of my movers, I won't say his name, would call me any second. Again I waited more than 15 minutes and guess what, NO CALL. I then called my mover, after waiting for a while myself and got no answer, but he called me right back immediately. He was at home asleep and had not spoken with ANYONE from All Seasons Movers ALL DAY!!!!! I BLEW UP!!! The mover told me he would be at my place soon with no specific time because he needed to sleep. So I told him I have been home all day waiting and now I'm supposed to spend all evening waited as well (It was now almost 5:30pm). I hung up the phone and with my sciatica, it took me almost two hours to remove my mattress(queen sized pillow top) and box spring to connect the frame to the headboard myself because, I felt I was lied to by the mover the same as I had been lied to by two other employees. After connecting the headboard to the frame (took all of two seconds literally, don't know how or why they couldn't do it), I called my mover back and told him he could pick up the two dollys  from the alley where they left them because I had somewhere to go. He begged me not to leave them because someone might take them and he would be charged. I went where I had to go and finally at 8:02pm the mover called me downstairs to bring the two heavy ass dollys (remember I have sciatica) that I had to keep moving out of my way in my studio apartment.Bottom line is they fuck up your shit, give you a bullshit 30 cents per pound and lie lie lie until you are ready to call the BBB on them. By the way they think they are the best movers in Chicago....if they were they would not have left equipment behind, cracked my unconnected bedframe or had to lie about something so simple. I think they paid people to write good reviews. Their trucks are old and don't even have ramps that work properly. The movers had to jump in and out of the truck.

These guys are the best! They are so hard working, take great care of your things, and fit pieces into the truck like puzzle pieces! They are the only moving company I use in Chicago. I cannot recommend them enough!
