Movers showed up an hour late for my move without the courtesy of a call. This was a problem because I could only reserve the elevator at my building for two hours. When I called to find out what was going on, I got major nasty attitude. The movers themselves were nice enough guys and quite efficient although they took a large piece of furniture apart and never quite got it back together properly (and never mentioned it until I inspected the piece).  Finally when I booked the move I inquired about some specifics about moving expensive artwork. The answer I received was "we are professionals". So professional that they have differing prices depending on whether you pay with cash or not...hmmm, I wonder why.

I just hired Ron and his company to help me move a 360 gallon fishtank and stand. They did a great job with a very delicate item. This thing had to be very carefully moved out of a guy's small house with super narrow doorways. The tank made it safely to my space without a scratch. Very easy to work with and super nice to me.

Let me first say as an IT professional I treat my electronics with the same care I treat a small child.  When I recently setup my first office I required a moving service that would take the same care Of my equipment as I would've. All of my computers and servers were wrapped in foam and padding as was requested and my furniture was wrapped as well. I was referred to Aarons Reliable by a client of mine who had used them for a full 25 person office move and found them to give me the same attention to detail as a larger customer. I was kept aware of the move status and when I stepped off site never felt things weren't in good hands. I will use this service again.

We used Aaron's Reliable for our office move today. They are a bit more expensive, but they were quick, friendly and wrapped the large items we needed to move without damage very well. Believe it or not, we had 3 life size statues of Alvin and the Chipmunks and they moved them very gingerly and packed them well. When they arrived, they came up, introduced themselves and were very friendly. They immediately started and got the office cleared out pretty fast (considering our very slow freight elevators).  The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because they didn't tell us when they left for our storage facility (we had to meet them there to open the facility, but since we didn't know they'd left we probably got charged more because I don't know how long they were waiting there. I had to go to our dock to see the truck was gone.) Other than that, they were very professional.

Not reliable at all.  Quote was reasonable - the service charge came out three times as much for the move and it took more than twice the number of hours.  One mover was drinking on the job - very unprofessional.  I would never use them again, ever!  Oh, and they were very late in starting.The only reason I selected them to begin with was they had a Skokie address - I'm wondering just what kind of company this really is?  And they poked holes in the bottom sides of many of my boxes.  Were there zero stars to give, that would have been my rating.  And on the phone, checks were no problem.  In person, there was a comment but the guy did take the check.  This business is bogus!
