DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! My 85 year old father hired Alliance to move him back in August 2020. On the day of the move they showed up, packed all of his belongings, placed all of the boxes in the road in front of his house and then demanded an extra $4,000.00, over and above his contract, or they would leave his items where they were. He had no choice but to pay. Horrible customer service and they have not responded to any BBB inquiries. On delivery, some items were damaged or missing. We are still trying to get Alliance to do the right thing.

This company takes your money and then stop answering calls!! I have no idea what day these movers will be here! my move date is 3/1/21- I've been texting my sales rep and calling for a few days and still no response!! so unprofessional…. I've paid my deposit of $922.00 and have to pay a pick up balance and a delivery balance both of $1,096.00. I also was told that after 7 stairs it will be a $75 fee for each step! GTFOH!! Then told that it would be waived-which i highly doubt! So basically I guess this company just got away with $922.00 in a dam PANDEMIC!! I don't have money to give away!! I WILL BE CONTACTING BBB!!! THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We contacted Alliance NOT KNOWING that they were nothing but a broker. After talking with them and giving them moving information, we received a quote. that was $5778.35, Wanting the actual movers name, that took 3 days to get. Alliance was not at all cooperative, would not return calls, Finally got movers name. then when the actual movers were to move us they wanted to postpone us for 1 day. our actual load date was OCT 13 or 14, when the ACTUAL mover called us they wanted to load on the 15th. WE explained the house was sold and closed on , they advised would be in about 3pm on the 14th, Finally at roughly 6:30 they arrived. DEMANDED the bank check I had one on loading and one for unloading , told us unless they had both they would just leave, having to be out we relented.
once they were loading they advised it would be MORE $$$$ or they wouldn't deliver relented again. at this time the move was at $,10,568.00 WAY over budget. at 9pm finally loaded I wanted a picture however they quickly closed and locked the door. When we called the actual mover as to when we would be delivered to our new address, which was to be OCT 24th or 25th, we were advised the furniture was in storage until a truck from the east would be able to REload us and come east. WE finally received our goods on NOVEMBER17th., after living in an empty house , sleeping on a twin air matteress and eating microwave food off the top of cardboard boxes, we FINALLY received our goods, of which there was a lot of damage.
How would I rate this service, 1/4 of a star at best and we are still waiting on the insurance for all the damage.

SCAM ARTIST! They broker your shipment and will not take your phone calls after your payment. We paid for a "full pack" and they showed up two days late with no packing material. They blackmail you along the way as the price changes. On delivery 25% of our stuff was missing and they will not call us back. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCAM ARTISTS.

NEVER use this company. Lied to at every turn. Cost of the moved doubled. Asked for another $1,000 1 day before the move and they knew we had no choice but to pay. The actual movers that were contracted were even worse, PACK RAT. Life lesson learned. Horrible Horrible Horrible
