I had a fantastic experience with One Big Man & One Big Truck. From the thoughtful booking process to the actual movers, I was very pleased. I'd worked with other movers before, but never for a residential move. It was very easy to book them. Some moving companies will send about five emails talking about how they're the best, like I didn't do any research already. OBMOBT is not one of those companies.My movers were Kyle and Tim, and I couldn't have asked for two more jovial and hard working guys. They had a solid process worked out and were very open about how things were packed, how much time it would take, etc. They were talkative and lovely, even while passing me on the stairs.Next time I move, I'll definitely be going to OBMOBT!

On Friday, December 16th, I met the real "Dynamic Duo". Introducing ONE BIG MAN AND ONE BIG TRUCK onebigman.com  - they literally turned a potential disaster into one of the most positive business experiences I've had.Due to unforeseen circumstances, I learned I had to pack and move and that I had less than three days to make it happen.  I was in a panic. After researching and getting quotes from 3 different San Francisco based movers - I happened upon "The Wolf"! The phone rang twice before a male voice with a heavy German accent answered. "Hello, One Big Man and One Big Truck, this is Wolfgang, how may I help you?" Speaking quickly, and barely allowing time to breathe, I laid out my dilemma. "I need to move and I'm doing my best to find a company that can accommodate at this late date." "When do you need to move?" He asked. "Friday," I said. Almost certain that what was to come next would be similar to the exorbitant quotes I had been given by the others, or a flat dismissal all together. Neither happened. Wolfgang immediately put me at ease by telling me that he could squeeze me in on Friday morning! He quoted an unbelievable rate of only $140/hr. and said that if my estimate of items to be moved was correct, neither the headache I had expected nor the financial hit I assumed, would come to be. * They arrived on time.* They packed all my stuff.* They took apart and moved bed/bed frame.* They put everything back together perfectly! * They did not break anything.* The price was accurate! I have never seen the kind of hustle your guys exhibited throughout the hours of moving.  They moved things as if my stuff was their own. It was like a track meet. The guys actually ran to the truck to grab the next box! This San Francisco-based company is truly the standard by which ALL customer-facing business should be measured. ONE BIG MAN AND ONE BIG TRUCK is a Christmas gift come early! Nick

I've moved 4 times in 3 years since moving to San Francisco and these guys are by far the best. They communicate with you before the move, are quick, clean, and efficient. They came in under the budget and quicker than estimated. I got a follow up call post move to thank me for my business.If (and when) I move again, one big man will be my mover!

I love these guys!  They have helped me move 5 or 6 times now.  They are totally dependable, organized and professional.  They are also affordable!  My go-to company.
