Unprofessional. Sloppy. They will break your furniture- then refuse the claim. They stack things on top of your furniture ( couches and chairs ) which results in dents and damage. Horrible communication. Stay away!

Do not even consider choosing this company for your moving needs. I was directed to them by my current employer, for what should have been a simple move from southern to northern California. BIG mistake. To make a long story short:1. They overcharge. 2. They are not careful packing items, especially not furniture. My furniture arrived with MULTIPLE scratches and one piece was broken during the move. The movers themselves were unapologetic (actually rude) and customer service, although nice, was absolutely useless in helping with the claims or reimbursement process. I have moved many times, and have never had my furniture arrive in the condition it did when I used Graebel.3. The movers mistakenly sent items that were to be delivered to my temporary housing to storage. Guess who had to pay $180 to retrieve those items THE DAY AFTER their delivery/when I realized they had made the mistake? Again, apologies from customer service but Graebel still gets paid.4. They were not careful moving my storage items into the new home, banging against walls and scratching against the hardwood floors. I wish I had chosen another moving company. Now, I am left with banged up and/or broken furniture, as well as a tedious claims form to fill out. I just know that the entire process is going to be a nightmare - and most likely a useless one at that!Save yourself the headache: go elsewhere!

If I could give even more stars, I would.  We did all our own packing, so I can't speak to that service, but the folks I worked with were all professionals.  Everything arrived on time, in perfect condition, and the movers were happy and careful the whole time - which was important to me, since I want to be sure they're going to be focused on the job at hand - my stuff!  From when we had the estimator come out to give a quote (which he had to do without seeing half of our belongings that were in a storage unit), to our move coordinator Rachel, to our driver Brian, and the guys who helped load/unload - all were top notch.I got 6 bids from varying companies, and Graebel was solidly in the middle price-wise, but their service was excellent.  Everyone was on time for all appointments (text update when one person was going to be 15 minutes late due to traffic.)  Rachel was on the ball going over all the details of our move: pick up in two locations and arranging a street parking permit since we moved close to Wrigley Field and they were unloading on a game day.Perhaps most importantly, Brian, our driver, and the guys that helped him carry our stuff were super careful with everything, and even when I was in awe that they could carry so much at once, they did it and without complaining about the two flights of stairs at our new place.  They had every detail nailed down well in advance, so I knew exactly what day our stuff would arrive, and when it did, all was exactly how we had packed it - no damages to our stuff or our apartments.Highly recommend, especially if you can have Rachel as your move coordinator and Brian as your driver!

Graebel owes my company, along with many others thousands upon thousands of dollars. We performed pre and post move services for them over a period of 12 years, and in 2016, after two years or so of new ownership, decided to stop paying us for them. Since as far as I know, they haven't officially declared bankruptcy, I would advise against doing business with them.

Not sure they deserve 1 starWe moved in April from Texas to Indiana. We have numerous amounts of damage including antiques. I got the estimates  and mailed in claim. No response. I have faxed,emailed,called and sent by snail mail and have gotten no where. I even emailed to a response given to Yelp and it came back undeliverable. I have called Troy Hendricks 5 times only to get his voice mail and no call back.Terrible Terrible customer service.
