If they do not appear they are not operating legally. If they are there and it says suspended or pending they do not have authority to operate. If they are there and active but you do not see all 3 types of insurances most likely they simply do not have it or work alone which is not such a great idea when moving a piano. Impressive but more chance of error. Protect yourself by only using a properly insured piano mover even if it is not BAPM.A legally licensed and insured piano mover or mover by law should be able to present valid and current proof of 3 types of insurances. They should have General Liability to protect your home and property, Cargo insurance to protect the piano while in transit from point A to point B, and they should have a Worker's Compensation policy in place as well to protect you from injury on your property. If a company has employees to help move your piano they must have a worker's compensation policy.
