We are experienced, LICENSED and INSURED professionals. Choosing an insured piano mover to move your piano is important for you so you are protected. See if any potential piano mover you are considering is.www.cpuc.ca.gov-utilities and industries-passenger carrier and movers-search for licensed carriers (middle of page)-list of passenger carriers- circle next to Moving Companies (MTR) and then type in a moving company name in carrier name/DBA field to see if you are choosing a piano mover that is following the laws  to operate in Ca. If they do not appear they are not operating legally. If they are there and it says suspended or pending they do not have authority to operate. If they are there and active but you do not see all 3 types of insurances most likely they simply do not have it or work alone which is not such a great idea when moving a piano. Impressive but more chance of error. Protect yourself by only using a properly insured piano mover even if it is not BAPM.A legally licensed and insured piano mover or mover by law should be able to present valid and current proof of 3 types of insurances. They should have General Liability to protect your home and property, Cargo insurance to protect the piano while in transit from point A to point B, and they should have a Worker's Compensation policy in place as well to protect you from injury on your property. If a company has employees to help move your piano they must have a worker's compensation policy.

This business was started in  2006 after i had been involved  in a family business for 20 years. we are very easy to work with, always trying to accommodate to the best we can and provide a pleasant experience for all of our customers. We deliver for several piano dealers in the bay area and have excellent referrals from previous customers and the stores we deliver for. I was only moving 1/2 mile away but I had a beloved piano and many steps to get over.  Mike was great, responds in a timely fashion and stays in touch.  I told him if everyone were as easy to work with, life would be a delight.  It makes life so much easier!I will use him again when we move in a few years!

Mike was so patient and responsive helping me move a donated baby grand piano into our middle school. It took me a few weeks to coordinate with the donor, and Mike stayed available and easy going while we figured out the details of the move-out/move-in, and found a time that worked. The day of, I had to leave the school site to work at my second school. He kept in touch via text throughout the day and gave me an ETA when they were close. His brother Patrick (the strongest handshake and a smile I've ever met) showed and a second nice guy showed up, had the piano unloaded and moved in 20 minutes. The move was wonderfully mundane and simple. The piano weighs about 600-700 lbs, and it was a soft and easy placement and assembly. I talked with Patrick afterwards. He helped me find the serial number hidden under a back leg of the piano, and was still happy and laughing when I can back 10 minutes later to find him locked inside the school gate trying to find someone to let him out. Oops :-) If I ever am lucky enough to have another piano donated to our school, or any Oakland public school, I'm going straight to these guys. Knowing we are a Title 1 public school without funding for this new music program, they were also nice enough to give us a public-school price on the move, in the ballpark of what a piano half the size would probably cost.As good as it gets.

I didn't use BAPM, but called to request a quote. I was called back quickly, got a reasonable estimate, and found them to be polite, accommodating, and professional. Even when I told them it wasn't going to work out this time around, they were very nice to me.I would definitely consider using them in the future! Very professional.
