History

Established in 2012. We opened the San Diego location in September 2012. Since then, we've quickly expanded to 10 trucks, more than 35 employees and a second North County location in San Marcos. We've helped more than 5000 families and companies move their homes and businesses. Our customers continue to help us grow that number the old-fashioned way: through repeat business and word-of-mouth. While it's true that we are larger than our name may suggest, we have not lost our passion for our local San Diego community or our commitment to exceed each customer's expectations on move day.Our team, led by husband-and-wife duo Pedro and Alicia, uses «the Grandma Rule®» as a guideline for approaching each move. The Grandma Rule means to treat each customer the way you would want your own grandmother to be treated. When we aren't moving, you will find us heavily involved in our beautiful San Diego community. Our charitable efforts include annual Movers for Moms and Movers for Military collection drives.

Had a great experience with Two Men and Truck.  James and Brett were careful but quick with moving our stuff from a pod facility to our new home. We would definitely recommend in the future.  Thank you!

I use moving trucks as a part of my business. I would rather decline a job where I had to use 2 Men in a Truck then ever use them again. From the moment they showed up it was obvious one of the guys didn't know what he was doing, after I ask how many days he had been on the job, he says 3. When you are charging $150/hr you expect experienced help! When we left from point A to get to point B I waited almost 20 mins for them, I knew they were milking the clock. When it came time to bill me he tried charging me double time, claims 7 miles (even though I showed him on my phone it was 3.4 miles)and it took him 20 mins because of lights. This is the biggest piece of shit company I have ever dealt with. And they say they don't take checks because they know people would stop payment on them. If I could give a -10 I would!!!!

We used these guys for our last move to our current location and I now have an estimate request in with them for a move from our current place to a new one. The movers we had were great and considerate of our time and furniture! We hope to use them again in late August/early sept.

I give three stars because the actual movers were kind and I honestly felt bad for them. Apparently they were told something other than what they encountered when they came to our house. Regardless, they were beyond helpful and as congenial as could be. We all underestimate what we have when we move and I know we were no different, but I'm guessing it's not the first time this company's heard: "should be an easy move" or "It'll only take a few hours." The two men who were sent were great but I couldn't help but feel like they'd worked longer than they expected to. I don't dispute the cost and was happy to pay them for their work, and I gladly tipped them accordingly, but I am wondering why the front office didn't communicate with their movers better. My three stars go to the movers, not the company.

Not happy with there service at all.  I hired this company to move me, and the movers put some kind of tape on my dinning room table, when we got to the new place, they took the tape off and some of my paint came off.  I have been trying to reach them, with no return phone call.  I would not hire this company at all.  I understand mistakes happen, but it's what you do after the mistake.  To not return a phone call, when your company caused the damage is not ok.  I am going to take them to small claims court if I don't get resolution.  I am also calling BBB.  Do not use this company, you will be sorry.
