On April 26, this company moved me from one condo to another 6 miles away.  I had already moved my dishes, linens, clothes, kitchen items, art work and many knick-knacks.  It took them 7 hours to move me and cost me $679.  While both movers were very nice and courteous, they did not put down any floor or stair protectors, resulting in scrapes and scratches.  The worst part is when they moved my treadmill from upstairs, they tried to move it through the door way and down the stairs without disassembling it.  Because it was too big to go through the doorway or the stairwell, they caused a great deal of damage to the door, the wall and doorframe.  He finally disassembled it and moved it to his truck. When I pointed out the damage to the mover, he merely said he was sorry and that he should have disassembled it from the beginning.  He said that he hoped I wouldn't be in trouble with my landlord!  I couldn't believe, first of all how slow they worked and how much this move cost; secondly that as a professional he made not offer to pay for the damage but merely apolologized.If you choose to use Moorco, I suggest you get an estimate in writing and watch closely to make sure they protect the walls, doors, and floors so you don't end up in a similar situation.  I would also suggest you get another estimate to be sure Moorco is not overcharging you.Personally, if I were you, I'd join Angie's List and choose one of the recommended movers there.My landlord ended up deducting $350 from my deposit for the damage Moorco caused.  I filed a complaint and eventually received a $200 refund.

I have had the pleasure of using the Moore Moving company for both my personal and business needs. I have found Willie to be extremely polite, professional, and with a very strong work ethic. He arrives on time every time. He is prepared with the right tools to do the job every time. He doesn't waste time and brings the right amount of help to get the job done on time and on budget. I recently moved my office and we have extremely expensive and delicate equipment. All were delivered without harm or damage. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs assistance with any moving or delivery needs.

DO NOT use this company. They scratched my office furniture and "torqued it" so that the drawers do not glide smoothly. AND to TOP it off, they stole the contents of TWO of my drawers leaving them completely empty! Shocking! They are INEPT and UNTRUSTWORTHY. Stay away!

Willie Moore and Company are a CLASS ACT to a T. They will take excellent care of your personal belongings during any move. They moved a family heirloom piano of ours and it was flaw free when it came through our doors.
