Our move went very smoothly. We moved from a two-story two-bedroom apartment to a third floor two-bedroom apartment right next door, so they didn't use the truck. They had to carry things through the alley and then use the elevator at the new place. Only our sofa was too big for the elevator, so they pulled it up over the top railing in the outside stairway, with no damage done at all.We had three guys out, and they worked very hard, never once complaining. The lead mover did an excellent job explaining things up front, and then communicating along the way anytime it was needed (like getting the couch up over the stairway railing). The furniture was undamaged. We even had one piece that I forgot was attached to the wall to prevent tipping, and they took care of taking that apart, too. And they dismantled the heavy king-sized wooden bed and put it back together exactly right.I couldn't be happier about the move or the movers. Very professional experience without costing an arm and a leg. Top-notch!

Forgot to mention, per estimate, this company knew I had 3 closets full of clothes and told me they'd charge me for a couple wardrobe boxes.  Come packing day, Anthony conveniently told me they didn't have any more wardrobe boxes (i.e. He didn't bring any) and threw all my clothes in regular boxes!!  I don't even think the packers and movers communicated with the Anthony guy that gave me my original estimate.  Such a waste.  This is a horrible company to do business with.I emailed them a request for refund for the money they over charged on the estimate.. no answer.   I'm glad yelp exists to warn others of this inept and money hungry company.  Spend your hard earned money on a moving company worth it, like the one the us navy uses.  Thee guys are not worth anything.  I'm looking to take them to small claims court if anything is missing.. which I have high suspicion they stole.  The truck, which should have been empty after storing my goods, had multiple boxes left in it.  When asked, Anthony (ugh!!) told me they were extra, damaged boxes.. when I seemed skeptical he said I can go look if I want.  Sadly, being 8.5 months PREGNANT I could not climb up onto a moving truck.. but I'm sure whatever he took, he needs more than me.  $95/hr what a joke.  And I never received my 5% military discount!!  Thanks, Finch.  I recommend you RUN not walk from these crooks!!

I had to move from our 2nd story North Park apartment to a house in South San Diego. My wife is currently 8 months pregnant and it would only be me moving.Thank god for YELP and Finch Moving. Based on the reviews, I called their dispatch and arranged a move.My wife and I had the pleasure of being helped by ANTHONY and SASHA.They arrived on time for our Sunday morning appointment and went to work. Their knowledge, packing skills and efficiency was 5 stars. They carefully shrink wrapped and blanketed our furniture. They carefully loaded and secured our belongings and brought and arranged our  items in storage.Even with the help of my family there is no way we would be able to do this. Would absolutely used them again. Thanks lads

I was doing a pretty small move (1 bedroom apt) from the heart of Downtown San Diego out to La Mesa and everything went smoothly. I had Andrii and Sasha as my movers. They were both professional and did everything in a timely manner, while also keeping all of my stuff in tip-top shape. If I had a friend in need of a moving company I would suggest Finch.The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because I would prefer their card payment to seem more secure to the customer. One of the movers called his manager and then read off my card information over the phone, mostly speaking in Russian. As a customer I have no way of knowing who is on the other line and I feel like they need to come up with a better solution.

These guys are PROs!!! They moved a piano, with the utmost care and were very respectful with all of our things. I'm not planning on moving again, but if I do, I will definitely call Finch moving!!!
