All was perfect with my recent move. I'm pretty OCD about my belongings and am happy to report that everything was left intact and in the same shape before the move.  I was really impressed that Jonathan, the sales representative I dealt with, personally came by during my move and actually gave the crew a hand. I definitely recommend this company if you're moving.  :)

I coordinated a move for a friend into Washington, D.C. It was a small shipment but they still treated the move like it was a million dollar client from beginning to end . I was very impressed.

Oh lawdy, the only good thing I have to say is that the guy I was in communications with on the phone was nice.  High five phone guy, even if you were completely new and knew hardly anything about the business itself, you were at least very polite and friendly and spoke clearly.I booked my move across the country with these folks even though they were underbid by another company.  This one was local to where I live, the other was a good 60 miles away.  First of all I got slapped up the ass with additional fees that were never discussed such as a long haul fee, extra packaging AND a mandatory 10% tip.  My stuff was loaded onto a very shady truck, complete with gang graffiti. At this point I began to calculate how much my stuff is worth as I was pretty sure it was going to end up being sold in Tijuana.Well my stuff did make it to my location on a Sunday and I handed over a cashier's check.  Yeah... they don't accept cashiers checks, which are as good as money and verified by the bank.  You can buy a frickin house with a cashiers check but apparently you can't pay a moving company with that.  Cash or postal money order only.  So had to scramble around to try and resolve the issue on a Sunday when EVERYTHING is closed to try and allocate either cash or find someone with faxing services to pay via credit card... which I was initially told was not an option.Finally get the payment issue resolved, stuff is being loaded in, one of the guys straight up cartwheels one of the boxes into my new home.  That's right, just flipping it end over end until it was in my living room. Yes - numerous things in the box were broken.  They also broke the handle on my dresser.  Didn't set up a lot of the furniture that they disassemble. There was no verification process to make sure all my items did indeed arrive.  They use paper sticky labels on your furniture which of course doesn't peel off.I hate that I gave these people over $3000 to move my stuff... when I was quoted about 2/3 that amount.  HATE!

We hired Efficient transport after that came in and did an in-home estimate. Their estimator, Mark, who claims to be an owner in the company, went through our entire townhouse before giving us a Binding Estimate for our move. The day of the move, movers tell me that I'm above the size estimated in the quote and that the move would cost more than double what my binding estimate was. Mark disappeared on the day of the move and we could not reach him. The office would not stand by their binding estimate so I had the movers unload our belongings to the point where they felt my original quote covered. I had to then hire a Budget truck and haul/load the remainder of my belongings myself. This is a dishonest company who does not stand by their in-home binding estimates. Beware, they are scammers.
