1st Choice Movers

1) I *hate* moving. 2) Despite hitting the gym hard one day this month, I knew I could not move a 2br all by myself, 3) I have several fragile glass furniture items and floor length mirrors that needed to be transported safely. All of these factors made it necessary to hire a moving company that would handle my belongings with care and make my move as painless as possible. I got exactly what I was looking for with 1st Choice Movers. Derek, Jose, and the guys were great. This company was professional and efficient from beginning to end. Derek was always quick to respond to my (many) questions and provided a clear estimate so I would know what to expect - even giving me tips to cut down on the move time. I was able to save money by paying in cash and using the Yelp coupon. I needed to change my move date, and Derek was quick to accommodate. On the day of the move, the guys showed up 15 minutes early, which was impressive. They inspected my place, had me fill out paperwork, and then got to work right away. I was impressed with how quick, efficient, professional, polite, and honest they were. My delicate furniture items were shrink wrapped and made it to the new location in tact.  Out of the entire move, only one wall was scratched, and they made sure to tell me about it right away, which I greatly appreciated. The guys were great about communicating anything that could be a potential problem. The only issue I did end up having was promptly corrected by Derek. 1st Choice Movers is the real deal - they deserve every 5 star review they get. I am beyond grateful for their hard work and amazing customer service.

Derek and his team were awesome!Derek was very prompt in giving me estimates and working with me on the exact date and time needed. He also followed up a day before the move to confirm the move and give me some tips on why moves especially where i lived(And they had prior experience with moves there) might take longer than expected and how to avoid that by being prepared. On moving day, Luis, Sandy and Sal called and gave us a heads up and showed up on time. They took great care of our furniture wrapping it and making sure they don't hit any walls etc. At no point did I feel that they were wasting time or slacking to run up the clock. We had most of the things to be moved(non-furniture) boxed up already. The unloading was smooth as well. They were courteous and very professional. Though Derek said the estimate was for 2 movers, 3 showed up and they didn't charge me extra for that. I would definitely recommend these guys.

Looking at Yelp reviews for moving companies can be a daunting task. It boils down to two types of reviews. "They were fantastic" or "They ruined all my belongings". Mostly all have pretty good reviews. But 5 stars on 500+ reviews is darn impressive.I reached out to at least 5 companies for quotes to move our 1300 sq. foot condo about 6 miles away. Derek was not only the most prompt, his pricing is the easiest to understand and boy oh boy did they do a fantastic job. Our crew for the day was Yusef, Jasper, Ogen and Stivan. From the second they arrived they assessed the situation and got right to work. The entire 8 hours there was very little downtime, except for lunch (and buy your movers lunch people, don't be cheap!). Even though we had 1300 square feet (plus a garage) we had been there 9 years and had A LOT of stuff. Like, a lot. I have never seen a truck so expertly packed. Again, they are pros and know what they are doing. Paying cash and using the Yelp deal really cut down on the cost. We did have one slight issue with some damage to our front door. They did their best to avoid it but not to worry, Derek was prompt and professional in fixing the problem.One thing to note, they don't move TV's unless boxed, and even then, they don't take responsibility for damage. I actually agree and appreciate this. TV's can be super sensitive to even the slightest vibrations, and they really shouldn't be responsible for damage. I am lucky we stayed within the same city and were able to move our ourselves. I would not hesitate to recommend 1st choice movers (although I hope to not have to need them for a long time!)

This is my 3rd move with 1st choice movers and Nothing but positive experiences here from booking to leaving! As usual they did absolutely amazing job. I can't say enough good things about Ajay and Raad, they were extremely efficient, quick and friendly. They had great attitude and it was pleasure to work with them. I will definitely move with 1st Choice Mover next time! Highly recommended - thank you again for making the move that much easier!

Third time with this company during last 10 years. It's A THIRD times. No DOUBT. The best moving company. They are very helpful and great supporter! Not just movers. Thank you Jose and Evan, you guys are never make me disappointed. Always awesome during 10 years! Also I met two new staffs, James and Aday. They are great as like my priority staffs, Jose and Evan.  Thank you guys!Thank you Derek!
