Just completed a two-truck move including packing.Derek was great.  He put my mind at ease, especially when other movers came back with very high estimates.  The work was done within the estimate.  The teams did a great job, very careful with our items and very nice people.  Thank you!

1st Choice Movers are 1st Choice.Sandy and Robert did a fabulous job with my move.There were on time, packed everything with care.I learned some new ways of packing loose items with shrink wrap.They worked quickly and effectantly!Thank you guys for making my move ez!

We would definitely go with these guys again for any moves. They showed up on time, all polite, helpful, responsive, attentive..etc. they were careful with all of our fancy furniture and fixtures, so NOTHING was damaged. :)We moved our whole house in one day because of how organized these guys were. They could even handle ME while I was all stressed out and impossible to deal with. And I gotta note that normally ONLY my husband can handle me, under any circumstances. I'm so glad we hired them! :)))

Moving is a pain, and no one likes it, but 1st Choice Movers made the experience much more bearable! I had done moves with a U-Haul myself in the past, and I don't think I can't ever go back to that, especially with these guys around.Jasper and Roy came promptly at 8:45 am. They inspected our items, filled out the paperwork, and immediately went to work. They wrapped up all our furniture and was able to get everything up and down the stairs. The place I was moving out of had a hilly driveway so they were able to park the truck and load accordingly.We had two bedroom apartment worth of stuff, and they were able to get it all done in 3.5 hours. They also operate on the highest level of integrity! Since they took some time to back the truck and stopped to get drinks (we had no juices or even water cause everything was packed), they took off this time from our total.With the Yelp deal ($25 for $50) and 6% discount for paying in cash, it was such a good deal. It was only a little more if we were to rent Uhaul and ask our friends to do the dirty work. I got quotes form different companies and 1st Choice Movers had the best deal.I highly recommend this moving company!

A year after we hired 1st Choice Movers, we moved again. Surprise, surprise! Hoping for the same A+ effort and service as last year, I was excited to contact them and set up an appointment.Sadly, not many great things to say this time. For an 8:30 appointment, only 1 guy showed up on time. I was told the other two are running late, but should arrive in '10 minutes.' It wasn't until closer to 9 until the other two crew members showed up. They started billing me at 8:45a, but they didn't come inside the house to move things until 8:55a... so not sure what they were doing for 10 minutes outside. Call me nitpicky, but when you are charged by the hour, every minute counts.They moved at a decent speed, but was a lot more careless this time. They dropped a large box of frames, pictures, and art down the stairs. Ugh. Luckily nothing seems to be broken, but they tried to hide it than admit that they dropped it. I thought that was kind of shady and very unprofessional. I'm not trying to be rude, but when I hire movers, I'm not really hoping for great conversations. I want people to come in and get the job done because you're charging me by the hour. While the crew was friendly, it seemed very obvious that one of them was just trying to chat us up so that the clock will continue to tick. Toward the end, they were basically done, and still he was chatting and asking if he can help us move any boxes around. Even when we insist that we don't need any more help moving boxes inside the house, he moved them anyway. I thought this was extremely annoying. When we got to the new place, we were told that a piece of wood on our dresser broke but that this wasn't covered in their insurance because the wood is 'compressed cardboard' or some shit like that. No matter what, you broke it. He kept saying it's easily replaced so that it's not a big deal. Uh, is it your furniture or mine? After we examined it, we would need to take apart the entire dresser just to replace that piece of wood. Thanks a lot! Also, they broke the wheel off one of our plastic rolling containers. All in all, they took 5.75 hours which cost us a very hefty price... and for what? A very unhappy experience. I think 1st Choice Movers just lost a customer. I'm sorry to say that I will not be going with this company for future moves.
